2 Investment into visitor relations Moda gets the key buyers to where they need to be. Our VIP programme is more in demand than ever, with more and more suppliers taking the opportunity to ensure that their essential buyers are offered priority treatment to attend the event. We nominated several buyers who had a distance to travel to Birmingham, and they told us that they extended their visit from one day to two days as a result. Two of our foreign visitors meanwhile told us that it made the difference between coming and not coming. I think the VIP scheme is a great initiative, and goes a long to making the buyers feel special and appreciated. Roger Meeke, Retail Sales Director, Brook Taverner From assistance with travel and accommodation to exclusive VIP lounges at the exhibition, the VIP programme makes it hard for visitors to resist the fashion event of the season. In fact this time around, there was a 78 per cent uptake on VIP invitations sent out by Moda on behalf of suppliers that s a 12 per cent increase on the previous year. Overall, we welcomed 25 per cent more VIP guests this season as a result of your nominations. Allowing exhibitors to have some input into who attends the show is just one way in which Moda is working to remain the key date on exhibitors calendar, season after season.

3 Offering menswear, womenswear, footwear and accessories under one roof, Moda is the most complete destination for trade fashion buying in the UK. Moda Woman Moda is fast becoming a favourite for me because it s welcoming and easy to write orders. I made orders with several new suppliers, and I m looking forward to working with these brands because they re offering fantastic margins and something different too. We always enjoy Moda, but this show was our most successful to date. We had a great mix of new and existing customers, and we wrote some substantial business, particularly on the last day. 4 Moda Noir Red carpet glamour makes its home at Moda Noir, the UK s premier show for evening and occasionwear. Discover global leaders in elegant gowns, fairytale prom dresses and occasionwear tailored to the season within one decadent setting. We had our best-ever Moda this season. The buyers who came were serious buyers, wanting to plan their next SS18 occasionwear buy. We were very pleased with the results, and the overall feedback was that the occasionwear catwalk show was amazing. We also managed to find a couple of new companies for scarves and jewellery something which we always enjoy doing face to face as opposed to online. The show s proximity to sister shows Moda Woman, Moda Gent and Moda Footwear allows visitors to buy cohesively across the sectors, leaving them merchandise-inspired for the new season.

5 Moda Gent Moda Gent is the UK s most complete destination for menswear. Discover contemporary streetwear alongside classic tailoring within one accessible hub of inspirational men s fashion. My first visit to Moda was a very pleasant experience; the organisation and layout worked really well for me. I bought into the collections I intended too and, as a newly-opened store, I was able to build relationships with the brands I want to stock. 6 Moda Footwear As the UK s national trade show for footwear, Moda Footwear is the only destination for men s, women s and children s shoes. From global leaders to emerging designers, buyers can find their niche within one inspirational showcase. Our overall experience of Moda Footwear is that it is a very positive, busy and professionally set-up show. We met retailers from all over the UK and Ireland and saw an excellent reaction to both our men s and women s collections. Suffice to say, the show was a success for us. I had a lovely time at the show and managed to do my ordering for next season. I enjoyed viewing the new collections and looking for new and exciting lines that I hadn t stocked before. 7 Beyond the buying, is the live event which brings the industry together. Catwalk shows and an engaging seminar programme bring fashion to life, while drinks parties and socials keep buyers connected ahead of the season to come. Moda is a major part of my buying and an event I look forward to. We enjoy the hour after the show on Sunday to meet up with our fellow buyers who we feel are more friends now after 13 years.
