By applying to the highest certifiable standards for textiles throughout our production we ve set some objective criteria for our suppliers to relate to and comply with. And since the certificates are governed by independent, internationally recognized organizations, we ve completely exclude ourselves from the sphere of influence during the monitoring of compliance. Instead we can focus on performance. Putting the certificates at the core of Neutral is our way of making sustainable production more accessible and manageable. On their own, none of the individual certificates are sufficient to meet the Neutral criteria for truly responsible production. But in combination they address all relevant issues throughout the entire supply chain. We call it Certified Responsibility. Certified Responsibility Our certificates are more than just funky looking stamps. They are your guarantee that your new Neutral product has been produced according to the highest ethical and environmental standards. Together, the certificates cover every single part of the production. GOTS 100% organic cotton by GOTS Sustainable Textile methods certified and inspected by Control Union. The aim of this standard is to ensure the textiles are made using organic raw materials and environmentally and socially responsible methods. License no. CU Eu Eco-Label The official EU label for Greener Products. Eco-labelled products have a comparatively modest impact on air, water, soil, quality, natural resource consumption, global warming and biodiversity. Products must pass rigorous enviranmental fitness tests, with results verified by an independent body. The label adorns top performing products only. License no. DK/16/049 Fairtrade The Fairtrade Certification Mark is your independent guarantee that the cotton in this product has been certified in accordance with international Fairtrade Standards. License no SA8000 SA8000 is based on the principles of international human rights norms. It measures the performance of companies in eight key areas: child labour, forced labour, health ad safety, free association and collective bargaining, discrimination, disciplinary practices, working hours and compensation. Neutral Responsibility Wind power is the main power source at the facilities providing four times as much energy as actually used. The surplus is sent to the network for the benefit of the local communities and reduces CO2. Oeko-Tex The Oeko-Tex Standard 100 comprehensively addresses the human ecology component of textile products. It evaluates and screens for any harmful substances present within processed textiles, which are intended to come into contact with consumers. License ZHGO

T-SHIRTS TOPS POLOS OKAY FARMERS Why? Cotton farmers bargaining position is often weak. As a consequence it s necessary to complement market mechanisms with Fairtrade to ensure that farmers get a fair price for their work in the fields. An okay deal has to be good for both parties. OKAY WORKING CONDITIONS Why? Factory workers are hard working people. That s okay when they have good, safe working conditions. By using the highest labor rights standard around, the SA8000 standard, we know that s the case. OKAY TEXTILES Why? Neutral avoids harmful chemicals in the production. This means that the final product is clean and ready to wear - no need to wash before use. OKAY ENERGY Why? Replacing conventional energy sources with renewable energy is beneficial for both climate and local environment. Neutral is produced at facilities powered by wind mills. 6 7
