1 T H E SILVER SIGNAL November Lone Star Club Executive Officers Robert Jordan Rusty Curry Peter Krell Rechey Davidson President Vice-President Secretary Treasurer President s Corner by: Robert Jordan Hello to all. We have a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving Day. Now is not the time to look back on sad events, but to cherish those positive events and to be proud we live in a nation of freedoms. We had a great turnout for the Cherokee/Texas Ranger Battlefield Hunt. We were not able to take all, but did get a large group and many had the opportunity to join in. Since we had searched that field twice before, the finds were slim. It turned out to be a great day. We owe thanks to Steve Moore for inviting us. Please make every effort to attend our Christmas Party on December 4 th. It will be held at the same location as the past several years. We will start at 7:00. This year is a little different as we will have Turkey and Ham. Bring a side dish or desert. I am sure Rechey has a wonderful fund raiser in the works. Have some fun and join in the Gift Exchange afterward. It has been a fun two years serving as your President, I appreciate the opportunity. The Christmas Party will be the last meeting which I preside. I will recognize those Committee Members which keep our Club running. Please consider joining a committee. Good luck out there hunting and remember to leave the deep ones for me. MERRY CHRISTMAS and have a HAPPY HOLIDAY SEASON
