47 The Charlie s Lunch Story Sam and Janey Stewart s son Charlie was born with a serious heart defect. Charlie was one of the most spiritually alive kids you could ever meet, and he loved to share. On February 1, 1996, Charlie s heart just couldn t hold out any longer, and he went home to be with the Lord. The Stewarts were missionaries serving in Guatemala, and one day at lunchtime there was a knock at their door. When Janey opened the door, she found two little boys begging for food.
