Inlaid panels featuring a banana leaf motif and sitting on a single pedestal, hollow inscribed base. A pattern of scrolls cover both the upper neck and base, while the lower neck features two simple bands encircling the vase, with four characters on the base. 9 1005 清仿战国兽面纹双耳尊 A CHINESE BRONZE VASE Highly decorative antique bronze pot. The spout is a dragon s head, while the lid is crowned with a leaping fish. The necklace features carved dragons and directly underneath are six raised shield-shaped panels. The handle of the pot is in the shape of a serpent, with both the head and tail of the beast resting on two interlocking rings. With a Japanese wood box. 11 1007 清铜点金双兽耳尊 A CHINESE BRONZE ZUN VASE In this bronze zun vase, a deep almost-black patina is covered with irregular splashes of gold. A circular base gives way to a bulbous lower body, and a double-rimmed neck. The ears of the vase are beasts wearing crested headdresses. With five characters on the base, and a Japanese wood box. 19 1018 二十世纪云龙赶珠盖炉 A CHINESE BRONZE CENSER A Chinese bronze. Three rounded legs are joined to the main bulbous-shaped body. An ornate, raised gilt dragon decorates the entire upper part of the urn, with a flame effect strewn across the body, culminating in an ornate crested tail. A thin, solid brass circular base supports a graceful tapering body. The bronze mirrors traditionally have one shiny reflective side, and a decorative side. The lid is concave in shape, burnished with a glazed effect and splashes of red. There is a decorative knob handle. An inlaid body panel with a raised scrolling border has a carved Chidori-based landscape theme, flecked with gold and silver. The illustration shows a bright sun shining out over mountainside pavilions with flocks of birds filling the sky. The lid of the pot has a crested knob handle. Two clasps hold the handles on either side, and the lid of the pot has a crested, ornamental jeweled knob. The carved panel inlay features illustrations of flowers, and the polished lid has a decorative knob resting on a clover shaped crest. 27 1034 宋天目茶盏 A TENMOKU TEA ZHAN The deep, rounded sides are covered inside and out with a thick iridescent black glaze suffused with a dense pattern of variegated iridescent oil spots, stopping in an irregular line and pooling above the foot, exposing the blackish-brown body. The mouth rim is mounted with a metal band. A Japanese wood box. 31 1042 元龙泉窑莲瓣纹敛口碗 A LONGQUAN CELADON LOTUS PETAL BUD BOWL With gently rounded sides standing on a cylindrical foot to an inverted rim, the bowl is carved and moulded around the exterior with overlapping upright petals and covered with a celadon glaze pooling slightly below the rim, the foot rim is unglazed. 32 1044 龙泉双耳香炉 A LONGQUAN CELADON CENSER Covered in an attractive crackled green glaze, the censer has a bellied lower body and a pair of stylized C-form handles below a slightly flared mouth rim. It is supported on a small straight foot, with a Japanese wood box. Height 3.5 Width 明龙泉窑双鱼耳瓶 A LONGQUAN CELADON KINUTA VASE The cylindrical body tapering slightly towards the foot from the canted shoulder and the tall neck flanked by a pair of fish handles tapering towards the flared mouth with upturned rim, covered overall with an even glaze of soft sea-green tone which falls to just above the edge of the foot, and covers the inside of the foot and the flat base. 33 1046 明金兰手高足碗 A CORAL GLAZED GROUND STEM CUP The rounded sides rising to a slightly flared rim, resting on a hollow splayed foot, the exterior painted with Buddhist-motif of stylized lotus heads encircled in a band of floral leafy, all reserved on a coral-glazed towards the interior painted longevity crane and a band of geometric patterns on mouth rim, six-character mark in underglaze blue in a line. 34 1047 十八世纪苹果绿釉琵琶尊 A CHINESE APPLE GREEN CRACKLE GLAZE VASE Of pear-shaped, raised on a high foot with rounded body and flattened flaring neck, the exterior with finely crackled bright green glaze, a white crackle glaze to the interior rim and to the base. 35 1048 清乾隆仿龙泉刻花缠枝莲纹筒炉 A LONGQUAN CELADON- GLAZED TRIPOD CENSER The deep sides are raised on three scroll feet and decorated with a continuous band of lotus heads on scrolling leafy stems, the mouth rim in relief of archaistic scroll patterns. The exterior is covered with an even green glaze continues over the rim down to interior, and unglazed circle base. A Japanese wood box. Height 5.75 Diameter 清青花莲瓣纹碗 A LONGQUAN CELADON KINUTA VASE The interior is decorated in the center with a large flower head, and the exterior is decorated with a band of ruyi clouds in between a border of lappets, high recessed foot and countersunk base. The panels are bordered with gilt flower and chime scrolls on a coral ground. The base with an iron-red and gilt Qianlong mark. A Japanese wood box. 37 1052 清中期仿松石绿地粉彩花卉纹盖罐连红木座 A FANG HONG LEAF-SHAPED WATER POT Of globular form, the rounded bodies enameled with yellow, pink, red and blue blossom peonies, all reserved on turquoise green ground incised with scrolling clouds pattern and the cover similar decorated, raised on a fitted carved wood stand. Height 9 Width 8 $ 十四世纪铜鎏金绿度母像 A GILT BRONZE FIGURE OF GREEN TARA BUDDHA A fourteenth century bronze and gilt green Tara Buddha. The figure is shown in a seated position, with the right hand in the virada mudra position and the left hand raised. In a meditative pose, the arms are in the Dharmacakra position. A plain conical headdress is offset by an elaborate floral crested tunic. He is seated in the vajrasana on a lotus base, his right hand in bhumisparsha mudra, while the left rests on his lap. Wearing a cloak draped across his left shoulder, his headdress is a vivid blue.
