Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca alternifolia) Retail 30ml and 10ml, Prof 50ml The Aborigines believed Tea Tree Oil had magic powers and would bathe in the lakes into which the leaves fell. Grown in New South Wales, Australia, the Melaleuca alternifolia tree is the only one of the 110 species from which this unique natural oil can be extracted. The oil is distilled under high pressure steam extraction within one hour of harvest. What is Tea Tree Oil? A 100% natural antiseptic essential oil A broad spectrum bactericide and fungicide A gentle, mild anaesthetic A natural pus solvent USES Salon: Waxing: Before treatment to sanitise the skin - approx 10ml TTO to 20ml Skin Wash in 1 litre of distilled water. Shake then spray on skin and blot dry. Electrolysis: Apply neat to the area and allow to penetrate. Blot dry with a tissue. Anaesthetic effect will last 1-2 mins. Other Uses: Diluted with distilled water (1 part TTO to 10 parts water) for eyebrow tweezing, ear piercing, add neat to manicure or pedicure bowls; use diluted to clean work areas, sun beds/cabinets, floors, sinks etc. Home Use: Use directly on affected area for abrasions, Athletes foot, cuts, ingrown hairs, mouth ulcers, nail fungus, pimples, spots. HY-Wax System Welcome to the Australian Bodycare (ABC) Hy-Wax System. Whether you are a dedicated ABC user or a new customer you have now taken the first step to using the most hygienic, effective and easy waxing system available to the beauty industry. Why use the Hy-Wax System? Australian Bodycare endorses a method of waxing which will minimalise the risk of cross infection between clients. Tea Tree Oil antiseptic Wipes are used to prepare the area to be waxed, these will leave the skin clean and free of surface bacteria. Each client has a new wax dispenser which is individually wrapped and opened in front of the client, after the skin has been prepared for treatment. Always keep the lid from the tube to replace after dispenser is disposed of. The unique dispenser system will ease the application of wax allowing it to be spread thinly and easily, without dragging the skin. Only the wax that is released from the dispenser comes into direct contact with the skin. Large areas can be covered in one application then removed in the normal way with either a paper or fabric strip. This reduces the time taken for waxing and the need to reapply thus reducing sensitivity. Salon after wax treatment: Hand & Body Lotion - legs, arms, bikini areas, underarms backs, chests and any other body area. Active Face Cream - any facial waxing, nipples or more sensitive bikini lines or underarms (also very good post electrolysis). Deodorant - individual sachets are available to use directly after underarm waxing. Home Care: All clients must be given homecare instructions. Recommend use of the above products to ensure the skin remains smooth and healthy and for the prevention of ingrown hairs. 4 Always check for contra indications before treatment commences. 4 Keep record cards for each client. 4 As each client leaves ensure they are aware of all homecare advice and have booked their next appointment. 4 Always dispose of dispenser, gloves, couch roll and used strips appropriately. 4 When setting up your Hy-Wax system please read and follow the instructions carefully. 4 Keep your Hy-Wax heater wax free at all times by cleaning after each use. 8
ABC Facial The introduction of a comprehensive range of products will enable you to offer skin care and facials to clients with specific skin concerns and problems. Your facial routine should take the following format: Cleanse the skin with either Facial Cleansing Gel or Gentle Cleansing Milk. Use Gentle Toner on damp cotton wool patter to refresh. Exfoliate - apply to damp skin and work into the skin using the fingertips in small circular motion. Remove with damp sponges or cotton wool patters. Facial massage - using the Facial Massage Oil and following a known massage routine, massage the face, neck and decollete for 10-15 minutes. Leave the oil on the skin and apply Purifying Clay Mask - allow client to relax for 10 minutes then remove with warm water. Apply either Active or Balancing Face Cream. This routine can be used on any area of the skin with specific problems, e.g. face & neck, shoulders & back or chest. Your client should take home a skin care package to continue the treatment, a follow up facial should be booked every 4-6 weeks.
