November Stillroom Recipes: As we prepare our home for guests take care to create lifelong habits cleaning, sanitizing and deodorizing your home without the use toxic chemicals and other harmful ingredients. Insects in the Home: Spray or drop Peppermint or Cedarwood in the pathways and entry points insects. Ants particularly respond well to Cedarwood. Vacuuming the Home: When vacuuming your home, put a few drops Delight, Humility, Gratitude or your favorite Essential Oil on a cotton ball and place it in your vacuum cleaner bag. Carpet Freshener: Add 25 to 30 drops White Fir or your favorite Essential Oil to 1 cup baking soda. Mix well and store in a closed container. Sprinkle on carpets, leave on 15 to 20 minutes and then vacuum as usual. Furniture Polish: To a natural oil based furniture polish, add a few drops (4 to 8) Prosper and shake well. When using the furniture polish you will be creating energy prosperity in the room. Gratitude or Happy would also be a good choice.
