YEARS 12 & 13 All students are expected to be dressed suitably for school in smart clothes to create a positive image of the school. No jeans or trainers to be worn at any time. Full details of the dress code for Sixth Form are available on enrolment. EQUIPMENT Students should have basic equipment with them for all lessons, including a pen (black or blue), green pen, pencil, rubber, ruler, colour pencils, a pencil sharpener, scissors, glue, compass, a scientific calculator and a small notebook/diary. In addition to basic equipment, it is desirable for all students to also have dictionaries and an atlas. These may all be purchased from the school s library. Students are asked to carry a small notebook or diary. Students should also have a bag that is capable of carrying their school equipment as well as their books for the school day.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Jewellery: One pair of small, plain studs may be worn and a watch may be worn. No nose studs, oral or other facial piercings. If make-up is worn, it should be very discreet, otherwise students may be asked to remove it. No nail varnish other than neutral. Skirts should be an appropriate length, no more than 7.5 cm above the knee. Hair should be neat and tidy and in a style that does not draw undue attention to the student. Hair dyes must be in natural, appropriate colours with no two-tone hair. Subtle highlights are acceptable, provided they are in natural colours. No patterns/shaved areas cut into the hair. Hair accessories must be black or navy blue. No hats or caps to be worn in any part of the school at any time. No scarves to be worn in any part of the school at any time. Personal music players and mobile phones must not be used during the school day except for in the main hall and dining hall during lunch and break only. If they are, they will be confiscated and handed to the Headteacher. These items will be returned at 3.00 pm on a Friday. If students are not in the correct uniform, parents/carers will be contacted and students either sent home to change or parents asked to bring the correct uniform into school.
