WONDERFUL WORLD of BORBOLETA The story of Borboleta begins with the famous movie line Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn, spoken by Rhett Butler. We included this line on the tag of our first red silk thread bracelet with gold-plated butterfly. Soon after, Borboleta launched a range of silk thread bracelets in various colours, each with a gold-plated lucky charm (star, heart, cross, filigree, clover, or of course butterfly) and accompanied by a line from a movie, song, piece of art or work of literature lines that have touched our lives. Borboleta is a Croatian handmade jewellery brand set up in 2012 by Tajana Lisicar, owner of Nicolas Concept Store, and her team. It quickly became a globally recognised brand and today it can be found in a number of top stores including Excelsior Milano, Sugar For Your Closet, Cosi Cosi, Smets, Nicolas Concept Store, Jules&Co, and more. In the following pages, we will present the first six Borboleta collections: Classic, Candy, Love Letters, Wish, Semiprecious, Silver Edition and Gold Edition. The bracelets in these collections incorporate silk thread, semi-precious stones, silver, gold and gold-pleated details, and the necklaces are mainly made of silver and gold and feature gold-pleated details. In arch 2013 we introduced Borboleta Gold Edition bracelets and necklaces to the market, followed by Love Letters by FRIENDSHIP BRACELETS Borboleta in September 2013, a collection of bracelets made from silk thread with gold plated, lettered pendants. September 2013 also marked the launch of Borboleta Silver Edition bracelets and necklaces, with the Borboleta Candy Collection coming in January 2014, our second best-selling line featuring acrylic pendants and gold-plated butterfly charms. Our most recent collection a range of limited edition Wish bracelets in silver, with gold-plated pendants featuring engraved quotes such as I Love..., I Hope..., I Dream..., I Pray..., I'm Happy..., MyFriend... and I Wish... was launched in June 2014.
