5 EASY STEPS TO APPLY STEP 1 CHOOSE YOUR COURSE Choose the course that best suits your interest and needs. STEP 2 SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION Apply directly to Best Migration Services and include all required documentation. STEP 3 ACCEPT YOUR OFFER A telephone interview will be conducted by International Student Liaison Officer. If accepted into the course then a Letter of Offer will be sent which outlines the deposit requirements and course fees. The enrolment form must be competed at this time as well as payment of the deposit and proof of Overseas Student Health Cover. STEP 4 PAY FEES Pay all fees due at this time. STEP 5 APPLY FOR A STUDENT VISA Once payment of fees and the return of your signed Letter of Offer, Media Makeup will issue ecoe (electronic confirmation of enrolment. Use you ecoe to apply for a student visa. You can do this through Best Migration Services. 10

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS WHAT IS THE ENGLISH ENTRY REQUIREMENT AT MEDIA MAKEUP? The minimum English language entry requirement for our courses is IELTS 5.5 (overall band score). Band score of each component is not less than 5.0. The IELTS test must be the Academic version. If your English language proficiency does not yet meet the standard, Media Makeup will provide guidance in securing the necessary English training for your studies. The final decision in acceptance of any applicant will be based on an interview with Media Makeup. DO I NEED OVERSEAS STUDENT HEALTH COVER (OSHC)? Information regarding your OSHC will be included in your letter of offer. WILL I EXPERIENCE WORK IN THE INDUSTRY? Yes, all students at Media Makeup are required to complete an industry placement as part of their program. Depending on the qualification you are enrolled in, students will be provided with the opportunity to complete their placement hours within our Retail Store and Salon or will be placed with one of our industry partners across a range of areas including, photography, catwalk, theatre and film. CAN I APPLY FOR RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING (RPL) OR CREDIT TRANSFER? You may be able to apply for RPL or Credit Transfer if you have previously completed qualifications or units that are similar to those being delivered at Media Makeup or if you have relevant previous experience within the makeup Industry. If you would like to apply for RPL please tick the relevant box on your application form and submit the required documentation. Media Makeup will then be in contact with you to discuss further. COURSE FEES - HOW MUCH DO I NEED TO PAY BEFORE I START? Your total course fees will be outlined in your letter of offer, these will be broken down into Tuition Fees and Incidental Expenses (non-tuition fees). You will be required to pay 50% of your tuition fees upfront prior to receiving your CoE, the remaining 50% may be paid in instalments over the duration of your course. Where required, your incidental expenses must be paid 30 days prior to course commencement. WHAT IF I NEED TO WITHDRAW FROM MY COURSE? Media Makeup is located in heart of Adelaide off of the busy shopping district of Rundle Mall in the trendy lane way of James Place. James Place & Rundle Mall are walking streets, lined with Retail Outlets, Banks, Library, Restaurants & Bars, Coffee Shops and Food Courts all within a short walk from the Academy. WHAT FACILITIES DOES MEDIA MAKEUP HAVE? Media Makeup has State of the Art facilities with the latest technology. Our facilities include, audio visual equipped classrooms with specialised lighting and makeup stations, a commercial photographic studio, Prosthetics and Special Effects Lab and a Student Lounge with a kitchen. Media Makeup also have a purpose built Makeup Store and Salon on the ground floor of our building which is open to the public and can be accessed by students to complete aspects of their training.
