WELCOME Dear Colleague, my department and the Scuola di Oncologia Ricostruttiva are very pleased to announce that we are organising the event Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of the Breast, 3rd European Conference" that will be held in Milan, from the 14th-17th December 2005. Experts from the most prestigious institutions will be present to enrich the Scientific Programme and to share and compare techniques and experiences with the audience. Live surgery will be held each morning and the opportunity to ask questions in real time from the auditorium to the surgeons that are performing the operation increases the teaching level to a very high standard. Smaller workshops will be held the first day of the conference allowing participants to focus on special topics. Sessions dedicated to Body and psychological implication in breast reconstruction as well as Radiotherapy, Breast Detection in Breast Reconstruction and Aesthetic Surgery of the breast will be included. Abstracts must be written in English and be in Times New Roman font and should not exceed 1000 characters. Founded in June, 1999 by Maurizio Nava MD, director of the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Unit of the National Cancer Institute of Milan.
