This product is basically non-hazardous. May cause slight irritation to eyes or nasal/respiratory passages upon exposure. May cause gastrointestinal irritation if ingested. Potential Health Effects, Signs and Symptoms of Exposure: Primary Route of Entry: Inhalation and skin Eye: Skin: Ingestion: Inhalation: Exposure to the eyes is not expected to cause any significant injuries. Exposure to product is not expected to cause skin irritation. Can cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea if ingested. Aspiration of materials into the lungs can cause chemical pneumonitis, which can be fatal. Mist can cause irritation of nasal and respiratory passages. Flush eyes for 15 min. with clean water while holding eyelids apart. If symptoms persist, seek medical attention. First aid is not normally required, however, it is good practice for exposed areas to be washed with soap and water. Remove individual to fresh air. Do not induce vomiting. Keep person warm, quiet and get medical attention. Aspiration of material into the lungs due to vomiting can cause chemical pneumonitis, which can be fatal.

Wear self-contained breathing apparatus with a full facepiece operated in the positive pressure demand mode when fighting fires. Water or foam can cause frothing which can be violent and possibly endanger the life of firefighters. Water may be used to keep fire-exposed containers cool until fire is out. Large spills: Persons not wearing protective equipment should be evacuated from area of spill until clean-up has been completed. Stop spill at source, dike area of spill to prevent spreading, pump liquid to salvage tank, remaining liquid may be absorbed by sand, clay, earth, floor absorbent, or other absorbent material and shoveled into containers. Prevent run off to sewers, streams or other bodies of water. If run-off occurs, notify proper authorities as required.
