P a g e 1 At the Pamper Party you attempt to: ~ Sell the Annique products ~ Sell the Annique Business Opportunity ~ Get appointments for future Pamper Parties ~ Get referrals from everyone! What is a Pamper Party? The Annique Pamper Party is not like the old Tupperware parties where you sit around listening to someone telling you about all the products it s and interactive afternoon/morning where each guest will give themselves a mini-facial using the product best suited to their skin type and through the course of the party you will introduce all the other products/ranges in a subtle manner. How Do I Start? There s nothing more daunting than your very first Pamper Party; for this reason it s an excellent idea to host one with close friends and family first. They will be most forgiving of any mistakes that you make and a great learning curve for you. I learn something new at each pamper party, which I try to implement with the next one so as to make everything run more efficiently while boosting sales; and gain more and more confidence with each one. Who to Invite? And How Many? Start with your close friends and family, after that invite everyone you know. Your first party should be between 6 and 10 people; try to always keep the number to 12 or less, else it becomes too impersonal and your guests cannot get the attention from you that they may require. You also need to take into consideration how many people you can comfortable seat around a table. Once the first party is done and dusted, you need to convince the guests that attended to host a party for you where they invite their friends. You can host the party at their home or at your own let the hostess decide what suits her best. You then need to convince guests at that party to host a party for you... and off course refer back to your 10 x 10 list. Once you re super confident make use of Facebook to advertise a pamper party. But: ~ I would suggest that you host these parties at a tea garden or guest house or similar. People are far more likely to attend at a public place than at someone s house that they don t know, (you also don t want all sorts of people at your home) AND VERY IMPORTANT insist on at least 50% payment on booking else you may end up going to a tremendous amount of trouble and cost for a no-show. This should be a general rule even close friends can drop you at #99 and leave you with the expense. The Invitation The more personal the better. I am not a telephone call kind of person at all and I think that it is more often than not to my detriment. I have 2 fears. Rejection and obligation. If you are like me we need to get over it. People ARE going to say no and often the people we least expect it from. They will eventually come around. Obligation that s the whole idea make the person feel obligated to attend; they won t regret it and you will hopefully gain a customer and referrals.

P a g e 2 1. Send a whatsapp image/invite 2. ALWAYS encourage your guests to bring a friend or two with 3. Give them a day or two to respond, then phone. a. If they have declined the invitation, phone anyway and try convince them to attend or ask what other date/month may suit them diarize it. 4. Send each guest an invoice using the Simple Invoice app (add pamper party as a product) 5. A week before hand send an image/whatsapp as a reminder 6. On the morning of the party send another whatsapp to express your excitement about their attendance, and remind them to come with a clean canvas (no makeup etc) and let them know that the party will be about 4 hours long. Don t tell them that before hand as it might be a deterrent. I have a standard invite that I use and just change the date etc. I am more than happy to customise it to suit your details and then you can send it off to your potential guests. Just please give me a few days notice. Do I Charge a Fee and How Much? Absolutel olutely! A pamper party costs money. Gifts, lucky draws, product, tea & coffee, equipment, etc Here is a rough idea of what you should charge. You may want/need to add or exclude items. At the end of the day the pamper may end up costing you extra BUT it is the opportunity to get new customers, new referrals and a new pamper party. Consumables Face sponge Those orange face sponges, I get mine from Clicks 2 in a bag very affordable Cotton Wool Pads To remove make up with Tea bag A plain or green rooibos tea bag To place in bowel to wash face with Stirrers Gift Plastic stirrers that you get to stir coffee with, use to scoop product out of tubs with Probably your largest expense for the day. I normally give each person a box of tea but buy them when there s buy one get one free. It then only costs me R18 for a R50 gift. I also check the bargain box for gift ideas. You could give a Rooibos Tea 10 s Mini Box R10 and a skin care/forever healthy wheel R7 each You can decide, but let your customer feel as though the gift itself was worth the money spent on the ticket to attend.

People still prefer paging through a book that reading an e-version. It prevents the customers from using too much of my product AND it shows the customer how little they really need and how long the product should then last. The R300 and R600 gifts must be really be worth it something with a high value. Whenever you place an order of R2000 or more you can purchase an Annique product at a huge discount. Make sure you purchase these, and keep them as gifts. You might pay R50 for a product worth R250 When you attend functions you normally get gifts for free keep those for gifts Keep an eye on the Bargain Bin on the portal and buy items that are hugely discounted. When there are buy-one-get-one free items buy a few. You can end up selling one at normal price, and the other is FREE for a party gift. Kit We all know the saying it takes money to make money Ultimately we need customers who will become regular return customers; but before that happens they are going to want to see, touch, feel, smell and taste the different products before they can be convinced to purchase the products. It s very costly to purchase an entire kit; I will help you as best I can by selling small samples to you to use for your pamper parties. Some items you cannot get away with those you will have to purchase; but the fee you ve charged your guests should cover the samples at the very least. It s also a good idea to commit to using a percentage of your profits towards building up your own kit. And off course grab products that are on a huge special during a month. A little tip for display purposes; - I keep all the boxes of products I have opened, and ask my customers to keep their boxes for me too. I place a little stone in each box, and then display them all on a table looks like I have everything in stock.

Customer to complete registration form & Skin Analysis and then enjoy some tea and eats until all guests have arrived Welcome Tea/coffee/sugar/milk/kettle/urn... Eats/plates/serviettes... Clipboards & pens Printed Registration form & Skin Analysis forms Check skin analysis and place either a green, blue or gold sticker onto their sheet. 1. All guests and thank hostess give her a gift 2. Guests to introduce themselves; What they do and do they enjoy it. this is important because it may help you identify a potential recruit. 3. Introduce yourself how you joined Annique, what it has done for your life and how you feel about the products. The Rooibos Story 1. Origin of Rooibos tea 2. Dr. Annique Theron 3. Research & Findings 4. Properties Ice Breaker The internet is full of ideas but here are 4 that I mostly use. Remember there must be a GIFT as a reward for the winner. 1. A type of musical chairs, but where people learn each other s names. Let the guests hold the gift (hand cream/lip balm/box of tea...) The person holding the item says their own name and then the person standing next to them s name and hands the item to that person. Eg. Michelle gives to Jane then, Jane gives to Susan, then Susan gives to Angie Jane only accepts the item from Michelle if Michelle got her name correct; but Michelle needs to get rid of the item ASAP. The aim is that when the music stops, the person holding the item is out. And so you carry on until there are only 2 people left. When the music stops, the person holding the gift has to give it to the other person as the reward. Great Fun and then everyone gets to know everyone s name immediately the atmosphere is relaxed (and you get to know everyone s names if guests were brought along by your friends) 2. Heads and tails (hips) Everyone stands, and either places their hands on their heads or their hips. You spin a coin. If it lands on heads, then the tails people sit down. The remaining get to choose heads or hips again... and so you carry on until you have a winner. 3. Toilet paper No Gift just for fun Buy one of those cute toilet rolls that have printed things on Chinese junk shops normally have.

P a g e 8 All you say is take as many blocks as you need... Pass the roll around and watch... some people take one... others take a whole handful. Once done, they have to tear off their blocks one by one, and with each block tell everyone one thing about themselves that no-one else knows i.e. one fact per toilet paper block 4. Get to know someone. No Gift just for fun a. Each person has to grab someone they have never met before. b. Use a timer each person gets a minute to tell the other person as much about themselves as possible. c. When the minute is up it is the other person s turn to share. d. Repeat the excursive another 2 times. e. Then make everyone go back to the 2 nd person they paired with f. Each person then tells the group as much as they can remember about that person. Lets get everyone relaxed using the Resque Range. 1. Resque Mist Spray across table over everyone s heads. Explain that this is to de-stress and relax everyone to get ready for the pamper. Ask if someone currently has a tense neck or shoulder spray a bit in the area and either ask them, their neighbour or you to quickly massage it in. Tell them how great it is for snoring, and for colds, flu & allergies you can spray it in the room, and on a pillow. 2. Resque Essense Ask if someone has sinus or a headache. Use your Resque essense and rub in according to their ailment. Again, show them how and where to rub it for sinus, allergies, headache. Also mention that it can be used for insect bites. 3. ZeroAche+ Ask if anyone has a sore muscle, joint... and rub a bit on Explain that ZeroAche is your Healthy, Rooibos Infused Deep Heat. It contains the proven properties of being a natural anti-inflammatory. 4. Hair Nutrition & Resque Creme Show the product and briefly explain their uses Hair nutrition salon damaged hair, split ends, dandruff/itchy scalp, thinning hair, nourishes hair Resque Creme scrapes, burns, cuts, bruises, insect bites... Add to wish list Make up remover Pass this around, and they use the cotton wool pads supplied to remove any make-up they still have one. Even if their face is make-up free they ll be astonished at the dirt (for choice of better words) is still on the face. Hopefully they ll then add this to their wish list. Add to wish list Introduce the Tea Re-iterate that: Annique Rooibos-Tea contains the highest percentage of Rooibos-Extract; even more so than other brands on the supermarket shelves. Hence the price difference. AND Annique Rooibos Tea has the lowest amount of Tannin (ingredient that robs the body of iron so Annique Tea does not rob the body of iron) Place the labeled tea bags into a container pass around and let each guest pick 1 (or 2 if need be) They re then to take the tea notes that they have and quickly read through the information about the tea type that they picked out of the hat.

P a g e 9 While they re doing this, you bring out your tea tasting competition jugs and fill up their bowls with warm water; with a rooibos tea bag inside the bowl Rinse & Prep Face Pass a container around that has the Lucid, Hydrafine and Synergy specific products. Customer selects to match sticker colour on their skin analysis page. Rooibos-infused water Faces should be rinsed with rooibos-infused water twice daily. The anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, anti-ageing and anti-oxidant & anti-viral benefits are great. With all products you use your middle and ring fingers. These are your dumb fingers and will prevent you from being too rough with your skin. Use circular motions. Cleanse Wash face with cleanser suited to skin type o They Lucid and Hydrafine range s cleanser is creamy some people prefer a foam wash they Synergy is the perfect one (irrespective of their skin type) o We only wash ONCE a day at night o In the morning we just rinse with rooibos infused water Exfoliate and Masque Apply exfoliater. Wash off. Apply Masque. o Exfoliate and Masque maximum TWICE a week. Add to wish list Back to the tea While the masque is setting Ask each person to share the main ingredient of their tea type, and 3 interesting facts/remedies. Pass the teabag around so that everyone can smell it. Then everyone can try a little bit of the 3 different iced tea types They need to guess which tea types each is, the winner will win a prize (preferably a box of tea) If more than one winner, do a draw. Add to wish list Shakes While they are busy washing & exfoliating Place shakes on the table with clean glasses (liqueur / shot glasses are perfect) Choose maximum 2 shakes one of which should be the shake that is on special that month.
