2 3 BSCI: Business Social Compliance Initiative Als internationaal bedrijf vinden we het bijzonder belangrijk dat de mondiale arbeidsomstandigheden voldoen aan een rechtvaardig niveau. Vandaar dat uw Seano leverancier zich in augustus 2013 heeft aangesloten bij het Business Social Compliance Initiative. Door middel van deelname aan de BSCI dragen wij ons steentje bij aan een verantwoordelijke toekomst en een goede kwaliteit van de wereldwijde werkomstandigheden. Het doel van de BSCI is om te zorgen dat er bij de leveranciers in risicolanden een duidelijk aanwijsbare verbetering in arbeidsomstandigheden aangetoond kan worden, waarbij minimaal wordt voldaan aan de vastgestelde tien basisvoorwaarden van de Code Of Conduct (zie: www.bsci-intl.org/our-work/ bsci-code-conduct). Dit doel dient binnen zes jaar bij tweederde van onze leveranciers in risicolanden bereikt te zijn. Wij streven er echter naar dit binnen drie jaar te realiseren. As an internationally oriented organization we consider it our duty to defend and improve global working conditions. Therefore, we joined the Business Social Compliance Initiative in August 2013. Plastisol transfer Even the most colourful images can be printed on a large variety of caps and bags with this printing method. Make your logos as complex and detailed as you want. The machine has a great eye for detail, so nothing will get lost in the printing process. With glue and a heat press at temperatures exceeding 200 degrees the printed paper image will be stamped on the object of choice. silk screen Very popular decorating technique. By placing a screen you can compare it with a kitchen sifter on top of the item or fabric and squeezing the ink through the fine meshes of the screen onto any material you want, you can create neat and clear images. We commit to implement the BSCI Code of Conduct as part of our business to provide a responsible future and a higher standard of the worldwide labour conditions. The main goal of the BSCI is to ensure all participating companies implement the BSCI Code of Conduct, and that suppliers in risk countries are able to verify a significant improvement in working conditions. Hereby, it is important for the suppliers to at least meet the ten established principal requirements of the Code of Conduct (go to www.bsci-intl.org/our-work/bsci-code-conduct). The BSCI is aiming to achieve the goal in less than six years and among two third of our suppliers in risk countries. We want to successfully complete that goal in less than three years. EMBOSSING To literally make an image stand out and create a lively 3D-look, you stamp the design with force and heat on a thin material. We often use this process on leather items. TAMPON PRINT This method is used on items too small for silk screen printing. An extremely versatile printing process, due to its ability to print on a wide variety of 3D or irregular objects.
