2017 GUEST CURATORS WAWI NAVARROZA Wawi is an artist/photographer from Manila, Philippines. Her work with photography has taken shape in highly stylized symbolic tableau vivants to her more recent interest in landscape, constructed still life, and installation. Navarroza has widely exhibited in the Philippines and internationally. She has received a number of awards such as the Cultural Center of the Philippines Thirteen Artists Awards national triennial (2012), the winner prize at the Ateneo Art Awards (2007), honorary award at Lumi Photographic Art Awards, Helsinki (2011). In 2015, she founded THOUSANDFOLD, an independent multi-platform space dedicated to contemporary photography and photobooks in Manila. ANSHIKA VARMA Anshika is a freelance documentary photographer, whose photographs are a means of exploring social and cultural changes in structures within communities. Her projects have been exhibited through various galleries in India, Italy and New York. Her works have been published by various national and international media such as The Sunday Guardian, National Geographic, Time Out, Tehelka, The Rolling Stones, Vogue and People Magazine. She has also worked on various book projects with the HCL Foundation, Mahindra Rise, Vodafone Foundation, Roli Books, Hachette Publishing (India), Random House (India) and The Tehelka Foundation.

THE ANJALI PHOTO WORKSHOPS 30 NOVEMBER - 8 DECEMBER An initiation to the photography art for 50 underpriviledged children from the NGO Anjali House. Empower children through creative expression, using photography as a mean to have fun while telling their own stories, the workshops encourage self-esteem and self-discovery. This year, the majority of the tutors will be Cambodian, and from the community of ex Alumni.
