fter the resounding success of the previous five "Convergence" events, the master refresher courses designed specifically for captains of group yachts and megayachts, Ferretti is currently organising Convergence 2009. The new appointment will - upon huge demand - take place after the Genoa Boat Show, in a location yet to be decided. This is a particularly propitious moment for the captains involved, arriving from all over the world, who will thus be able to admire the many yachts on show, and new models recently premiered at the Cannes Boat Show, and displayed in Genoa. s before, Convergence will be organised in meetings and classroom sessions which make an in-depth study of all the main issues pertaining to the daily management of motoryachts. It will comprise training workshops, technical interventions, practical training and team-building activities. Convergence will also provide an opportunity for fruitful dialogue between captains and Ferretti, which once again maintains, and indeed renews, its commitment to these professionals of the sea. Service University, the school providing professional refresher courses organised by Ferretti was created from this certainty, and has been developed over the years. It is directed at all professionals working in after sales, worldwide. choice of over 40 courses held in both Italian and English welcomed participants this year. From November to February they attended a range of theoretical and practical courses dealing with issues inherent to the very latest technologies and products, and the technical issues they come up against in their daily work. T S ess than one year after the exclusive dealership agreement signed with Hong Seh L Trading, well-known sales agency for luxury Italian-made products based in Singapore, Riva has landed on the island with one of its main models: SportRiva 56'. From 5 th to 8 th December 2008, in fact, on occasion of its 40 th anniversary, Hong Seh Trading organized an event at the Formula 1 track paddock. ll the products the agency represents in Singapore, among which Ferrari, Maserati and Riva, were displayed. SportRiva 56', launched in September 2007 as a new concept between open and flybridge yachts can now be admired in Singapore at the most exclusive marina on the island, the One 15. Furthermore, after the huge success it enjoyed at the very first German edition, Riva returned to the well established Miljonair Fair in msterdam in 2008, thanks to its exclusive dealer for the Netherlands, Lengers Yachts. Held from 11 th to 15 th December, the most famous luxury show in Europe saw the participation of two exceptional ambassadors of the wellknown Italian brand: quariva Super and Rivale, who immediately caught the attention of the visitors thanks to their elegant, refined lines, making them true modern classics appreciated worldwide.
