GiuseppeGabellone Giuseppe Gabellone plays one of the most important roles in redefining the contemporary art in Italy through his unique crea?ve language an independent explora?on of the intricate and crossydimensional connec?ons among photography, sculpturesandarchitectures.inhisrecentbasyreliefseriesinwhich he experiments with mul?ple materials, Giuseppe Gabellone creates an?the?c impressions including natural and ar?ficial, abstract and figura?ve, surreal and decora?ve, inves?ga?ng the ambiguous quality of the physical and metaphysical existenceofthework. Giuseppe Gabellone (1973) was born in Brindisi, Italy, and graduated from Accademia di BelleAr? dibrera in Milan, Italy. He now works and lives in Paris, France.Hehaspar?cipatedtwiceinVeniceBiennale,Venice,Italy,2003and1997; VII Biennale de Lyon, Lyon, France, 2003; Documenta 11, Kassel, Germany, 2002. His recent solo shows include Giuseppe Gabellone, Greengrassi, London, UK, 2014; Soir Bleu, ZERO, Milan, Italy, 2013. Selected group shows include NouvellesImpressionsdeRaymondRoussel,PalaisdeTokyo,Paris,France,2013; Fuoriclasse, Galleria d Arte Moderna, Milan, Italy, 2012; Italics: Italian Art between Tradi?on and Revolu?on, 1968Y2008, Palazzo Grassi, Venice, Italy, in collabora?onwithmuseumofcontemporaryart,chicago,usa,2009; AZERTY,un abecedaire autour des collec?ons du FRAC Limousin, Centre Pompidou, Paris, France,2001. Giuseppe Gabellone throughout his career has explored the boundaries and possibilities of sculpture, investigating its relationship with other mediums such as photography, and the very notion of sculpture itself; Gabellone s sculptures are always suspended between the representational function and their autonomous existence as self-sufficient presences. Giuseppe Gabellone ( Theseriesonshow,?tled SoirBleu aueranearlyworkbyamericanpainteredwardhopper, consists of highly elaborated highyreliefs made of wax and plaster, that apparently resemble vast monochroma?c and abstract architectural presences, whereas at a closer look, reveal the sinuous contours of the sentence Soir Bleu, embedded in a saturated and undefined maoer where the shapesofalanternandadrystoneywallboldlyemergefromthebackground. j ) Althoughthechoiceofwaxandplasterevokesclassicalformsandaesthe?csofnonYfinitosculptures, the dense and crowded plot of signs and volumes eliminate any possible reference to the realm of reality, consigning these highyreliefs abstract and uncertain traits. The ambiguous rela?onships between wrioen language and its physical embodiment, between the figura?ve and biydimensional source and its sculptural and nonynarra?ve elabora?on defy any possible dis?nc?on between representa?onandabstrac?on,originalcrea?onandderiva?veelabora?on. Giuseppe Gabellone (1973) was born in Brindisi, Italy. He has par?cipated two?mes in Venice Biennale (2003 and 1997), VII Biennale de Lyon (2003) and Documenta 11 (2002) and at Palais de Tokyo, Paris, France (2013); Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, USA (2009); and Centre Pompidou,Paris,France(2001). DiegoPerrone Diego Perrone follows the path of Italian art movements in 20th century, such as Futurism, Arte Povera and Transavanguardia, based on which he makes reference to myths, legends and provincial Italian lives that saturate his works with a poe?c and enigma?c quality. Tang Dixin Tap Water 2015 Oil on canvas 180 x 130 cm

Tang Dixin Widely known as a performance artist, Tang Dixin often engages in extreme behavior and provocative acts. Tang Dixin s paintings, as much as his live performances, are filled with radical and extreme tensions, bringing alive the same sense of absurd and wildness that inform his performances. His paintings evoke situations that lie between the realms of possibility and impossibility, and probably constitute a different platform for the artist to stage fictional performances that challenge the laws of physics. Tang Dixin s performance art and paintings mirror each other -- though the two are diametrically opposed, they rely on and refer to each other. The artist s physical body is what links the two halves -- a concrete form imbued with abstraction. Tang Dixin (1982) was born in Hangzhou, China. He graduated from Shanghai Normal University and now lives and works in Shanghai. His recent solo exhibitions include Mr. Hungry, AIKE-DELLARCO, Shanghai, China, 2014; Tang Dixin, Ota Fine Arts, Tokyo, Japan, 2014. His recent group exhibitions include: Jing Shen The act of painting in contemporary China, PAC Museum of Contemporary Art, Milan, Italy, 2015; 10th Gwangju Biennale, Gwangju, South Korea, 2014; ON OFF China s Young Artists in Concept and Practice, Ullens Center for Contemporary Art, Beijing, China, 2013.,,,, 2,,, (1982),2005 2, 2 :,,,2,,2014;,,,,2014 :, PAC,,,2015; 10,,,2014; ON OFF,,,,2013
