EXHIBITOR STATISTICS INTERNATIONAL LOCAL Graphic 2, Local / International exhibitors 418 Exhibitors from 51 418 distinguished exhibitors from 51 countries who are the leading names in the world of beauty including Turkey,, France, Spain, Greece, Poland, Korea, Taiwan, and Switzerland met under one roof at BeautyEurasia 2012 organized by Ipekyolu & Platform International Exhibitions, between 14th -16th of June in Istanbul, Turkey. The leading exhibition in Eurasian Region - 8th International Cosmetics, Beauty and Hair Exhibition BeautyEurasia 2012, has welcomed many international companies displaying their latest brands and wide range of products. BeautyEurasia experienced growth of 30% in size in the exhibition area compared to the previous edition. The fair also recorded an increase of over 20 % in the number of exhibitors and 15% in the number of visitors, which is clear indication of BeautyEurasia 2012 s success. ICE - The Italian Institute for Foreign Trade and Promos - the Milan Chamber of Commerce Special Agency led 36 qualified Italian companies to BeautyEurasia 2012. BeautyEurasia s trade visitors directly benefited of the massive presence of the most reputable Italian companies in cosmetics and beauty sector. Leading Italian companies have experienced a wonderful opportunity to enlarge their business relationships, increase the business profit, generate good business. France also reasserts its loyalty to BeautyEurasia 2012. With the support of the French International Business Development Agency Ubifrance, 20 distinguished French companies attended BeautyEurasia 2012. Stanpa Spanish National Perfumery and Cosmetics Association achieved to realize the Spanish national participation. 13 Spanish companies were among exhibiting companies who found a unique opportunity to meet and interact with companies and visitors from all parts of the world. One of the most remarkable participations was the Greece national participation. Fighting with economic crisis for a long time Greece national participation at BeautyEurasia 2012 created an interest among the visitors. Hellenic Foreign Trade Board - Hepo, aiming to reinforce the presence of Greek products in foreign markets, organized for the first time Greek national participation at BeautyEurasia 2012. 9 Greek companies showcased the Greek tradition and beauty at BeautyEurasia 2012.Poland Ministry of Economy s support which was given to 5 Polish companies managed to releaze the Poland national participation at BeautyEurasia 2012. Graphic 4, Exhibitors by region TURKEY EUROPE ASIA AMERICAS/LATIN AMERICA MIDDLE EAST AFRICA COUNTRIES AUSTRALIA n National Association of Parfumery and Cosmetics BNAEOPC gave their support to 13 n cosmetics companies to participate at BeautyEurasia 2012. n authorities defined the exhibition as extremely successful and confirmed their participation next year. Switzerland group participation at BeautyEurasia 2012 also created interest among the visitors. 6 Swiss companies have presented an attractive range of products and innovations. In addition to all exhibitors BeautyEurasia had the pleasure to host 9 companies from South Korea, 24 from China and 10 from Taiwan. HAIR AND COIFFEUR SHOWS Professional Hairstylists from Turkey and all around the world performed during three days at BeautyEurasia 2012. This 3 day s long programme was realized with the support and the coordination of Istanbul Men s Hairdressers Association. Professional stylists and teams such as; Adem Terzi, Pivot Point, Uzbekistan Hairdressers Association, Creative Hairdressing Etiler, Osman Kadioglu, Bursa and İzmir Hairdressers Associations, Moldova Hairdressers Association, Tekirdag and Mardin Hairdressers Associations showed their talent to the world. One of the most remarkable show in the program was the Italian stylist performance of Severio Palma. Palma s incredible style and techiques impressed the audience at first sight.

I have been already informed that our foreign trade department has estanblished very good business relationships. My colleagues had very possitive contacts with business people coming form Middle East countries, and Balkans. Our company is on a way in becoming a truly global brand, that s why meeting with international visitors was very important for us. We would like to confirm our participation in the next edition. We are very satisfied with the results. -Mr. Ahmet Emin Ficici, Product Manager, Biota, Turkey We have been attending BeautyEurasia for the last four years. In my opinion Turkey is like a cosmetic door which opens to Middle East countries and Balkans. Turkey is the biggest supplier at this regions. That s why I believe that the heart of global cosmetics sector is beating in İstanbul. BeautyEurasia is one of the most important fairs in Europe, the number of exhibiting companies is an indicator for my thesis.this year we saw many visitors from Greece, and. We are thinking about exhibiting next year. - Mr. Murat Senol, Export Manager, Giz Cosmetic, Turkey I think that we reached our target at BeautyEurasia 2012. We are presented in 55 countries, but we are not presented in the countries around Turkey, for example; Greece,, Iran, Iraq and Armenia. Therefore we decided to exhibit at BeautyEurasia 2012. I think we had very good contacts and we found a lot of potential customers here. We met beauty salon owners, many wholesalers, buyers from big chains such as Watson Group and profesional visitors from Morocco, Libya and Tunisia. We were looking for the business customers, we are very lucky to meet them. - Mr. Andre Leenwesteijn, Bransus, The Netherlands We decided to come and exhibit in Istanbul, because it is very important business city. Istanbul is such kind of business capital where we can meet customers we can not meet anywhere, especially profesional visitors from Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Iran, CIS countries and Middle East countries. It was a big pleasure to exhibit here. Here we met qualified business people. - Mr. Roland Sarkissian, Export Manager, Advance Beauty, France Turkey is one of the most important growing markets in the World. Turkey, especially Istanbul is at very strategic point between Middle East and Cis countries. I have very good importer here that helped us a lot to develop our business. We have very good business relationships with the local authorities, such as Chamber of Commerces, Hairdressers and Esthetician Associations. 100% I will exhibit next year. - Mr. Gianni Manzetti, General Manager, Farmen, The main reason to participate to BeautyEurasia is because of the Turkish Market. The Turkish Market is really important for fragrance company because it is one of the most important market in all Europe. I think that we reached our target. We have met many new clients and presented our products very well. Many international visitors have visited our stand. We had also the opportunity to meet many customers from Turkey. LOCAL INTERNATIONAL Graphic 6, Local / International visitors This year BeautyEurasia carried out large and intensive visitor promotion campaign with various activities all over the world, especially in Turkey and Eurasian Region to meet with the exhibitors expectations. 8th International Cosmetics, Beauty and Hair Fair BeautyEurasia 2012 hosted 24.873 professional visitors including 3.565 foreign visitors from 103 countries who were keen to find out about the latest trends from huge range of possibilities. The visitor profile was shaped from a huge region of Eurasia consisting of Turkey, Europe, Balkans, Caucasia and Central Asia, CIS Countries, Middle East and Europe. The buyers and visitors from Iran,,, Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, Saudi Arabia,, Syria, Bosnia, Kosovo, Greece, UAE,, Tunisia, Macedonia, Romania,, Algeria, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Albania one more time have proved that BeautyEurasia has become not only the leading cosmetics and beauty event in Eurasian Region also one of the most distinguished cosmetics exhibitions in the world. In addition to the individual visitors coming from 103 countries, visitor groups which were organized by local travel agencies, associations, chamber of commerce & industries and exhibition organizers presented at BeautyEurasia 2012. 120 buyers from Iraq, 400 from, 90 from Iran, 20 from Kazakhstan, 20 from Tunisia, 30 from Afghanistan, and many others from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Egypt,, Turkmenistan, Nigeria, Macedonia and have visited BeautyEurasia 2012. Also this year significant number of importers and buyers from 41 countries benefited from Hosted Buyers Programme organized by Turkish Ministry of Economy and IMMIB - General Secretariat of Istanbul Mineral and Metals Exporters Association. 90 company members from 41 countries: Greece,, Jordan, Turkmenistan, Tunisia, Tajikistan,, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Lebanon, Israel, Morocco, Algeria, Azerbaijan and Albania visited BeautyEurasia 2012. International hosted-buyers from Central Asian Region which were announced as Target Markets have established new business contacts. In addition to foreign visitors there were professional visitor groups from different cities of Turkey; Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Kocaeli, Adana, Afyon, Bursa, Tekirdag, Antalya and Eskisehir, supported by institutions, governmental organizations, Chamber of Commerces and industries. The Hairdressers Associations groups from; Adapazarı, Afyon, Akhisar, Akyazi, Antalya, Aydin, Bandirma, Bursa, Canakkale, Corum, Gebze, Izmir, Kocaeli, Kutahya, Karacabey, Kesan, Manisa, Mardin, Mersin, Can, Tekirdag, Gonen and Eskisehir cities also visited the trade show. BEAUTY EURASIA 2012 VISITORS COMMENTS I am looking for packaging products. It was very possitive edition for us, we found exactly what we were looking for. I saw many packaging companies from Turkey, Taiwan and India. I think that the exhibition has professional visitor profile, the exhibiting companies are very hospitable and aslo there is a big range of products. - Mr. Languar Abdelmoula, Leader Trading Distribution, Tunisia Our main reason of visiting BeautyEurasia is to find new suppliers and strong partners. We are big chain of cosmetics in Georgia. We represent in Georgia companies like Orly nails, Revlon Professional, Alessandro Nail.. BeautyEurasia is one of the best shows in this area. - Mr. David Tchedia, General Manager, P & B, Georgia We distribute products in Central Anatolia. We usually visit BeautyEurasia every year. BeautyEurasia 2012 was beyond our expectations. I will leave the fair quite happy, because I found wide products range. We had the opportunity to meet with many local and international companies here. The main objective of visiting this trade show was to get in touch with new companies, to establish new business relationships and to make marketing research. BeautyEurasia is one of the most distinguished cosmetic exhibitions in the world. I am interested in color, natural cosmetics and beauty salon products and equipments. By visiting this trade show I have informed myself about the newelties on the market.
