A. The DERMATOLOGICAL RESEARCH /Patch Test/ Methode of the research: The research was done in accordance with Act of 30 March 2001 about cosmetics No. 42, pos. 473 Art. 11 sec. 1 p. 4: evaluation of cosmetics influence on human health safety including research regarding skin tolerance to a tested cosmetic product done by path test half open European Cosmetic Directive 76/768/EEC (with amendments) Selection of subjects - human volunteers: The selection of subjects, human volunteers, was conducted by a dermatologist in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki from 1964, as amended, Polish and EU regulations, and COLIPA guidance using inclusion and exclusion criteria. In order to execute a diagnostic test regarding harmlessness of the influence on human skin and showing a possible toxic-irritant or sensitizing characteristic of the delivered Wonder Hair Loción Capilar Biotina, a diagnostic test with 30 persons was conducted: 18 women and 12 men of the age between 26 57 years old. The participants were informed, not to use any anti histamine pharmacological medicine in this time, which could affect the outcome of the research. The skin of the participants and their subjective impressions were evaluated before the preparation's application, during and after the doctors-specialists of dermatology finished the research. With the above mentioned preparation epidermal patch tests were conducted. Exposition of the tests lasted 48 hours. The results of the patch tests were read after 48 and 72 hours from the application time. The results: All results of the patch tests were negative. 3
B. Method of the research: The research was done in accordance with Act of 30 March 2001 about cosmetics No. 42, pos. 473 Art. 11 sec. 1 p. 6: confirmation of the declared by the manufacturer, actions including the applicability properties of submitted preparation. All test of the Wonder Hair Loción Capilar Biotina preparations were carried out under supervision of specialists in dermatology in home settings (home panel). Selection of the subjects research volunteers: Selection of the subjects volunteers was conducted by a dermatologist in accordance with the Helsinki Declaration of 1964 (with later amendments), 4
the Polish law, EU, COLIPA guide lines using inclusion and exclusion criteria. The study included 30 people aged 19-63 year old, of different hair types, mostly destroyed, falling out hair in the need of revitalization. Before preparation application, the skin was examined by specialists in dermatology. Prior the tests, skin was free from any lesions, sights of irritation or contact allergy needed pharmacology treatment Scalp skin, hair and subjects feelings, were examined by dermatologist before, within and after product application. Additional, important feedback concerning the preparation action was given by subjects, who were staying in touch with a doctor. Subjects volunteers were given one package of Wonder Hair Loción Capilar Biotina each and were obliged to: - regular, within 4 weeks (or till it s overall consumption), use of the tested product according to manufacturer s instructions: apply with a gentle massage over the scalp, let it dry and then comb, - at this time do not use other products of identical or similar purposes, - stopping immediately preparations application in case of any side effects in the tested area and reporting them to the dermatologist or gynecologist involved in the tests, 5

Dermatological properties in the loton were considered as very good. 2. Hairdressing properties in the loton were considered as very good. 6
Results: The evaluated product Wonder Hair Loción Capilar Biotina discouraged irritation and worked well on all skin types of the people involved in the study. Probands confirmed that the conditioner could be used for the care of all hair types in the need of revitalization, brittle and falling out hair. The product effectively, when used the regularly, nourished and improved the condition of hair providing it with healthy and natural look. According to the probands, regular application decreased the process of hair loss. According to the probands involved in the study, thanks to regenerating properties of the conditioner, hair become stronger, did not split and was more resistant to external factors. After application of the product, hair recovered shine and natural luster. Hair after preparation were evaluated respectively manicured, and consequently, more fluffy and soft to the touch. The probands stressed out that by improving the condition of hair, it was easier to comb and do it. The probands emphasized functional properties of the shampoo such as: - delicate, smooth formula, - a light, pleasant fragrance, with adequate intensity, - elegant turquoise color of the preparation, 7
these features encourage shampoo s regular application. Conditioner s high efficiency was pointed out, applied in small amount, it spread well on the scalp, created intensive foam, and was easily washed off. After applying Wonder Hair Loción Capilar Biotina the hair has a longlasting pleasant aroma, hair is not static, hair easy to comb and do a long-lasting hairstyles. Conditioner did not weight hair and, after application, no grease or dandruff was found. 8
CONCLUSIONS Based on research by dermatologists, individual assessments of probands and interviews collected in accordance with Article 11. 1 p.4 and 6 of the cosmetics, it was found that: the tested product Wonder Hair Loción Capilar Biotina showed no symptoms, which would implicate a harmful, i.e. allergic or toxic-irritant influence of on skin path tests negative. The issued opinion does not apply to anybody with an allergy to any of the ingredients of the tested preparation. The tested preparation fulfills requirements for cosmetic products of declared specifications, i.e. hypo allergic in regards to human health safety /Act of 30 th March 2001 about cosmetics in terms of article 11, act 1, point 4/. Based on the subjects opinions, who provided relevant information on the activities and properties, it was found that the Wonder Hair Loción Capilar Biotina is designed for care of every hair type and hair length of especially falling out hair and in the need of regeneration. No participant in the study reported any subjective aliments, such as itching, burning or stretching of the skin that would indicate a negative effect of the Wonder Hair Loción Capilar Biotina on human skin. It was confirmed that a well-chosen formula based on biotin, vitamin E, B5, A, 9
and other plant extracts properties form a product that gently and effectively cleanses and nourishes hair and scalp and also contributes to: - hair nourishing, - strengthening hair structure, - reduction of fragility, brittleness of hair and its splitting, - reduction of hair loss. Enriched with nourishing active ingredients, the product helped to improve the condition and appearance of hair. By improving nutrition, damaged hair becomes more thick, durable, smooth, and in this way hair has a healthy and neat appearance. Wonder Hair Loción Capilar Biotina despite its nutritional properties, does not weight hair, after its application no grease or dandruff was found. Balm is very practical in use. It spreads well and is easily massaged. A gentle, pleasant, well selected of an appropriate intensity aroma, oily texture, and interesting, turquoise color of the shampoo provide relaxation during use.
