ITINERARY Sunday: Welcome to Prague! An evening to meet and greet. Main Topic multiple off-camera flash concepts Monday: Prague Rendezvous and a Moonlit Stroll To start off our adventure, we will be exploring the historic streets of Prague as Mark Anthony conducts a shoot with a professional model. This will be an excellent opportunity to absorb his style of shooting and the vision that leads to the artwork he is known for. We then go indoors, where the first of our guest speakers will be introduced. Tuesday: Your Day to Shine and a Night to Remember This day we switch roles, and give you a chance to be centre stage. Accompanied by beautiful, professional models, you will be exhibiting your recently learnt capture Prague in all its glory. Main Topic As the sun sets, you will be gearing up for an adventurous night shoot with the We finish off the evening with an extravagant shoot of a stunning model adorned with a one-of-a-kind designer dress. Wednesday: The Finishing Touches We will be reviewing your workshop images and have a session of constructive criticism. From there, we will progress into the finishing of your artwork. This will be an intense workshop, filled with the fundamentals of finishing your art. You ll be amazed at how you bring your art to life! In addition to learning how to bring out the details and colours that have proven to impress even the most discerning clients, you will be shown how to attract the clientele that appreciate those extra efforts that will make their images come alive. Main Topic Thursday: On our last day, we will have a once in a lifetime session as we head to the outskirts take us back in time.
BIOGRAPHIES Mark Anthony At the age 17, Mark Anthony picked up his first camera and fell in love with creating art with images. With formal photographic training both in Italy and Toronto, Mark Anthony has taken his craft to another level by fusing art and imagery. In 1993, Mark Anthony took his passion into the lucrative business of wedding photography. After a brief stint of freelancing and style development, he opened Mark Anthony Studios in 1998 in the heart of Toronto s Liberty Village. Since then, Mark Anthony has had the privilege of not only photographing some of Toronto s most prominent weddings, but also many notable figures, including members of the Canadian government, various NBA and NFL athletes, and more recently contributed to a photographic project for none other than Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. Today, Mark Anthony has shown no sign of slowing down. Currently, he is working on sharing his perspectives on how images come to realization. Rares Pulbere (special guest speaker) After several years during which photography was an intense hobby, Rares Pulbere decided in 2006 to make photography a professional career. In a short period, he has emerged as one of the most influential photographers in his native country of Romania. Trained in Italy, Spain and Romania, Rares honed his skills and created a style that has become renowned amongst his peers. In 2009, at only 24 years of age, he was awarded six of ten wedding photography awards handed out by the Romanian Association of Photographic Artists during its annual awards event. Marko Paajanen (special guest speaker) Marko Paajanen's formal education is in graphic design and advertising, fields in which he has worked professionally for over fifteen years. In this time he has worked with international brands such as Smirnoff, Sony, BP, Ford, and Microsoft. He has earned a place amongst his industry peers as an accomplished art director and graphic designer. He currently works from his Toronto, Queen East studio as both a freelance designer and illustrator for a select group of agencies and direct clients. Mark Anthony Studios Inc. 2010 Apart from being a fixture in the creative community, he has made efforts to give back by helping a new generation of artists and designers. He has dedicated time as an instructor, and has also been a curriculum consultant to several Toronto colleges....and other creative specialists.
