During the Berlin Fashion Week, fashion enthusiasts, buyers, trade experts and the media interact at shows and awards ceremonies, collect information at fashion trade shows and attend exhibitions and off-site events. Highlights from July 08-13, 2014 include BREAD & BUTTER, the leading international trade fair for street and urban wear, which will takes place from July 08-10, 2014 at the legendary Tempelhof Airport, The fashion show PREMIUM in the STATION Berlin and PANORAMA in the Berlin ExpoCenter City as well as the shows of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin, exclusively this year in the Erika- Hess-Eisstadion. The ordering platform for high fashion SHOW & ORDER; the streetwear fair BRIGHT, the New York Trade Show (capsule) as well as the fair for PlusSize fashion "curvy is sexy" round out the the diverse fair program. Berlin will again show its 'green-fashion' side this season introducing the newest trends and discussing current questions revolving around ecological design. Among this week's eco-shows are: GREENshowroom and the Ethical Fashion Show as well as the fashion shows for Fashionistas Showfloor Berlin and Lavera Showfloor. Charity: Show&Order and Miss Goodlife for the Christoph Metzelder Foundation In addition to the innovations of the "Show&Buy" Area for high-quality immediate programs and a pop-up store in front of the Kraftwerk Berlin-Mitte, attention at the Show&Order No.6 should be given on social involvement this year. According to the motto "Designed to do good" the Show&Order team, led by exhibition chief Verena Malta together with the hip fashion brand Miss Good Life, will offer a charity T- shirt. "Charity is our concern and children are our future. The Christoph Metzelder Foundation is dedicated to disadvantaged youth with an emphasis on education projects and child poverty. With the sale of the charity shirts we want to support the great work of the foundation and are very pleased about the cooperation," Verena Malta said. The price of the 100% Cotton T-shirt is EUR 0,29 and it is available at the charity booth of the Christoph Metzelder Foundation. A yellow heart decorates the front of the upper part and reflects the love to the project. The yield of the sale goes for 100% to the promotion work of the Christoph Metzelder Foundation, so that various, ongoing projects can be developed and expanded. WHITE LABEL VELODROM Paul-Heyse-Straße / S-Bahn Landsberger Allee 26, 10407 Berlin WHITE LABEL - The international sourcing fair during the Berlin Fashion Week Following the successful completion of the second edition of WHITE LABEL in July 2013, WHITE LABEL will now present international apparel suppliers for the third time during the Berlin Fashion Week. In order to accommodate the increasing number of exhibitors, the VELODROM was selected to host the show in 2014. WHITE LABEL reaches out to label manufacturers as well as to the retail and trading sectors. The exhibition will cover a wide range of medium to high-end products from selected countries world-wide. Extensive information on the exhibitors are available for visitors of Berlin s apparel sourcing fair. During the Fashion Week, WHITE LABEL presents 100 exhibitors from China, India and Moldova. The Exhibitors Catalogue is now available as download on www.whitelabelfair.com. Next to 68 manufacturers from China, the National Pavilion of India presents 20 companies while the Moldovan Pavilion hosts 10 exhibitors. The share of non-chinese exhibitors has thus reached 35%, the highest level since inauguration in 2012. Fair Director Sven Eriskat is satisfied with the exhibitors portfolio: We are happy with the product and geographical coverage exhibitors at WHITE LABEL offer. However, we could not achieve a sharp increase in the number of companies presented. This is what we will target in the future, namely to offer an ever wider product portfolio. WHITE LABEL will yet again cover the entire product portfolio of Womenswear, Menswear, Childrenswear and Accessories.
