BRAND STORY Sustainably produced home textiles, created with love and an eye for detail With the latest home collection from House in Style, you can retain the warm feeling of (late) summer, even as the days become shorter and cooler. For the FW2018 collection, designer and founder Desiree Schouten was inspired by the richness and tranquillity of pure natural colours. Colours developed in the inhouse studio, such as copper, blossom, clay, coconut and olive, are featured in the luxurious bed linens and the bright homeliving collection, including coarse, handknitted rugs and cushions. Part of the collection is handmade and limited edition. Due to popular demand, House in Style will launch additional Fitted sheets in various high-end cotton jersey and satin qualities this autumn to complement all style collections. House in Style was founded in 2011 by married couple Pieter Schouten (entrepreneur) and Desiree Schouten (textile engineer and interior designer). The brand is recognisable by its timeless, high-quality products using pure colours, fair and natural materials and artisan and ISO-certified production in Europe with respect for people and the environment. Bohemian, casual or metropolitan The House in Style winter collection is based on themes that reflect a variety of lifestyles, creating endless combination possibilities. Fashionably shabby chic features deep, intense and earthy colours (such as coal, marble, copper and mud) and duvet covers with a bohemian touch, such as fine lace or a denim seam. The fabrics are dyed and washed using a special method, making them soft and easy to maintain. The sporty & casual line features an easy, non-iron cotton jersey and light and airy colours with a cool touch, such as stone, grey and olive. The ultimate in high end quality is the sophisticated luxury collection. At the top of the bill is high-quality satin with a yarn density of 600 and luxurious pleating or ajour de venice. The light colours with warm undertones blend perfectly with the deeper and more intense shades. Together they create the metropolitan feel of a luxury hotel room in one of the world s greatest cities. Best quality House in Style chooses only the best quality linen, percale, jersey and satin for all collections.
