2015 DANCE EXAM 2 Instructions Answer all questions in the spaces provided. Diagrams may be used where appropriate. Question 1 (9 marks) Explain how three processes or principles of systematic dance training can assist a dancer with developing safe dance technique.

3 2015 DANCE EXAM Question 2 (10 marks) Imagine you are a senior dance student at your school and you are mentoring a junior dance student who has choreographed a solo dance work. You work together to develop the student s understanding of the importance of artistry and what a dancer can do in performance to enhance their skills in this area. a. Describe three performance practices that can enhance a dancer s artistry. 6 marks b. Discuss why it is important that dancers develop artistry. 4 marks TURN OVER
