~ Interactive installation (ceramic, video projections) http://ewawesolowska.com/portfolio/concordia/ The ~ project touch booth the long-time memory (each ceramic piece is a unique handprint) and the short time memory (videos projected upon the ceramic elements). It is also about leaving the traces in a space; the visitors while walking through the room were sculpting the installation. It had a tracking system that was moving the pieces up and down while someone was moving through the exhibition space and putting all pieces back to starting position after someone was leaving the room. Work presented at ~. Solo show at Concordia Gallery in Enschede. Netherlands. 2016 / completed during ARE Holland Residency Program. 2016

Detected by a motion sensor, the flickering light of the O=O is activated by passersby. Different lights have different moving sensors, so they are not activated all at the same time. The visitor has to move around the space to see the whole piece. The very, very quiet almost inaudible sound of a children s music box melody is heard throughout the space (sound volume is up only for the purpose of the video documentation). Work presented at: O=O. Solo show. Center of Polish Sculpture Chapel Gallery. 2015 Rock Paper Scissors. Route Du Nord Festival. Roodkajpe Gallery. Rotterdam Art Week 2014 Ephemeros. Cellar Gallery. France. 2014 Video documentation: http://ewawesolowska.com/portfolio/colombier/ An installation is set within a darkened space, a former dovecote house for pigeons where ceramic vases remain from the former pigeon residents. RE_ Installation (found objects, video projection, sound) Camac Art Center. France. 2014 Video documentation: http://ewawesolowska.com/portfolio/re_-2/ An installation consisting of a video projection, canvas, old dovecote pottery vases, and sound. It was completed in Camac Art Centre in France in the former dovecote pigeon house, where ceramic vases were used as housing for pigeons. The old vases were placed against the window space. During the daytime, the daylight would cast shadows on the canvas placed on the floor and recorded every day. Through the arrival of the darkened night, this projection was presented on the wall along with the recorded sounds. The sound was layered and duplicated over time from the previous recordings as it was continually played through the duration of the day. The work was presented for a week. Work was Presented while Open Studio at Camac while the day and night/evening time. It was completed during the residency program of CAMAC. France. 2014

MUSIC BOX Mobile installation (sculptured objects, sound) DordtYart. Dordrecht. Netherlands. 2013 Video documentation: http://ewawesolowska.com/portfolio/musicbox_ewa-wesolowska/ Installation within a darkened space. A single light is suspended from a revolving circle hanging from the ceiling. Shadows are cast onto the walls from suspended objects which are sculptural forms created by an impression of the squeezing hand. These traces left by a gesture -natural and imperfect are incompletely defined or expressed. Interruptions of the form leave room for speculation and interpretation by the viewer. The work is informed by the traditional formation of sculpture a visible artist s gesture on the surface of work with the arrangement of the space in which the work is exhibited. The sound of a music box melody plays within the space. Work was completed during the residency program of DordtYart. 2013 Presented at DordtYart 2013 group show. Dordrecht. Netherlands
