EN40 General Requirements for Protective Gloves Certifi es that the gloves meet the general requirements of the Personal Protective Equipment in terms of construction, fi tness for purpose, safety, etc. This standard is concerned with protecting the wearer. Safecare vinyl gloves are popular in domiciliary care, automotive and cleaning industries. Low cost and durable, they offer economical, latex-free protection from mild chemicals. They are standard cuff length and ambidextrous. Part 1 Minimal Risk Only These are gloves of a simple design (PPE Category 1) offering protection from low level hazards where risk of injury is minimal.
