dermofeel surfactants are 100% naturally derived and PEG-free The product line dermofeel products comprise a carefully chosen line of emulsifiers, functional oils and antioxidants for cosmetic and dermatological applications. The well balanced product profiles are tailored to meet as many requirements of modern cosmetic concepts as possible. Functionality and technical performance are the main focus for the development of the dermofeel product line. Wherever possible we choose raw materials from sustainable sources in order to comply with this important trend for an increasing number of consumer products. is a potent anionic emulsifier that effectively stabilises the oil-water-interface The product is made from high oleic sunflower oil, triglycerol and citric acid. The origin of all components lies in renewable plant sources. The manufacturing process uses environmentally friendly condensation reactions and does not involve any kind of alkoxylated species. Consequently, is PEG and PPG free. The anionic nature combined with its unique molecular structure furnishes with many interesting cosmetic properties. As a sole emulsifiers it forms in cold processes O/W-emulsions of a viscosity as low as 500 mpas. The anionic character of the emulsifier supports its adhesion on the skin leaving a detectable smooth film. Fully soluble in a variety of oils it can be conveniently mixed into almost any oil phase. By this, sprayable and stable products are obtained without any co-emulsifier. Just the addition of a small amount of gelling agent to the aqueous phase is recommended. Interestingly, the viscosity of the emulsions formed by are almost independent of the volume of the oil phase. Sprayable emulsions with oil contents up to 30% can be easily realized with. Already at a concentration of 1 2% a sustainable film on the skin is formed providing a long-lasting caring sensation. An ideal partner for higher viscous O/W-emulsions is Glyceryl Stearate Citrate (e.g. dermofeel GSC). Combinations of gel forming agents such as acrylates and carbomers and lead to gel creams with a typical texture but with a suprisingly sustainable skin feel.
