SECTION 3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION INHALATION ACUTE EXPOSURE EFFECTS Excessive inhalation of vapors can cause nasal and respiratory irritation. INHALATION CHRONIC EXPOSURE EFFECTS Inhalation of vapors may be irritating to the mucous membrane and cause nausea EYE CONTACT ACUTE EXPOSURE EFFECTS May cause irritation, redness, tearing, blurred vision. SKIN CONTACT ACUTE EXPOSURE EFFECTS May cause drying, irritation. INGESTION ACUTE EXPOSURE EFFECTS Can cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.aspirations of material into lungs can cause chemical pneumonitis which can be fatal. SECTION 4. FIRST AID MEASURES INHALATION If affected, remove individual to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, administer oxygen. If breathing has stopped give artifical respiration. Keep person warm, quiet and get medical attention. SKIN CONTACT Wash contaminated areas with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before re-use. EYE CONTACT Immediately flush with large amounts of water for at least 15 minutes, holding eyelids apart to ensure flushing of the entire surface. Get medical attention. INGESTION Do not induce vomiting. If conscious, give 2 glasses of water. Keep person warm, quiet and have medical personnel determine if vomiting or evacuation of stomach is necessary. Aspiration of material into lungs due to vomiting may cause chemical pneumonitis which can be fatal. SECTION 5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES Cool exposed containers with water.
