ELE officially opened their doors for business on August 28 th, 2014, in Springfield, MO. The company holds two small business buildings. One is located in Downtown Springfield and the other in Saint Louis. There are 100 employees total from both locations. Erin Leu has always been passionate about makeup. Whenever she was young, she was made fun of for her thick eyebrows. Whenever thick eyebrows came into style she decided to take advantage and create a kit of her own to embrace all the thick eyebrowed women. The kit consists of liner, brush, mousse, filler, and tweezers. All makeup in ELE kits is not tested on animals. All ELE makeup is 100% organic. Erin began selling her kits on Etsy, a website for DIY products, but later decided to brand herself and created her own website. Three thousand (3,000) eyebrow kits are packaged and shipped out to customers across the US each day. Erin is currently working on a partnering deal with Sephora to add her eyebrow kit to their makeup selection. ELE kits are packaged in a small plastic bin with dividers separating each item. The plastic bin is wrapped in a pink lace bag and tied close with a white bow to keep packaging elegant and chic. Erin has made a pact that for every kit sold, $1.50 will go toward Safe Place Little Rock, her favorite charity. As of May 5, 2016, over 50,000 eyebrow kits have been sold, giving Safe Place over $75,000.

ELE, Erin Leu Eyebrows, is a new makeup company started and designed entirely by Erin Leu, the CEO of the company. The launch party is planned to bring in hundreds of local and national buyers, as well as being open to the public. Each guest will be given a free ELE Perfection kit as well as a goodie bag filled with samples of Erin s favorite beauty products. Erin explained that her company isn t just about promoting herself, but other companies as well. Although the company may be starting out small, says O Leary, the makeup industry is fully aware of us and they are very interested in our product. The launch party is scheduled for June 4 th, 2016. It will be held at the Arkansas Arts Center from 4-9 PM. Food and drink will be provided, donated by Melissa Howard Catering. 92.3 FM KYPR Radio will be providing entertainment for the night. Along with music there will be booths of different makeup companies offering tips and services free of charge. ELE is a company based on morals and hard work. All donations and silent auction money will be split into two. Half of the receiving s will be put toward Erin s favorite charity, Safe Places Little Rock.
