STELLA Ranging from a former local tradition of travelling Christmas carol choirs Stellari, Castel Pergine choir was invited to celebrate 10 special people through a travelling concert. The selected people have less or little access to social life and public spaces given to their poor health condition, disability or age. The choir stopped in front of their housedoors and balconies and dedicated a song to each of them like a serenata. Some people were not able to attend publicly, so they only listened to the music from their living rooms. In other cases the person was deceiced, so a familiar would replace her or him. A group of children from the local school Garbari has been invited to create anthropomorfic structures in the faschion of rural culture - scarecrows. These were given as a symbolic present from side of the community and as a joyful companion for the everyday life. A collective rite with the community of Pergine Valsugana (project in progress). AUGENDIKTATUR (Dictatorship of the eyes) This is a very simple piece. It s an experiment of an idea. It sums up my feeling about how we are dealing with media today, but sometimes are not much aware of. I have started in the middle of a crowd. While holding firmly my smartphone, I started recording a video. I would then approach occasional members of the public, getting very closed to them (20-10 cm). I slowly recorded their bodies in full length, from head to feet. This body scan was sometimes regarded as someting funny, but later there were moments when it was experienced with fear. By looking at the filmed person, the public would join me in my voyeristic sight, reinforcing my power position. The performance was stopped when a mirrow was put in front of my face and I would finally look at myself. Duration: 20 minutes aprox. In occasion of 39NULL Magazin für Gesellschaft und Kultur Nr. 3 MACHT UND OHNMACHT, Werkbank Lana, 2015; Reperformed during Macerie residency at Spazio OZ, Palermo and The Others Fairs, Werkbank Lana boot, Torino 2015 1/3

REPETITA IUVANT (Repetition helps) The project has been specifically conceived for a hairdresser s shop whose magazines I have been collecting for a couple of months (tabloid, scandalistic and women s magazines). It is an investigation about the representation of female body in commercial print material targeted to ladies. The outcome of my research is three fake magazines, each of them focusses on a specific element: overly photoshopped mouths from fashion advertisements, banal/common lifestyles of celebrities, letters and photographs of presumed Cuban young women in search for older Italian men to marry. The magazines were handed out to clients during their staying at the hair shop as if they were normal magazines. OnHair exhibition project, curated by Paolo Toffolutti, Malisano by hair studio, Udine 2014 1/3

L EFFETTO JOULE (Joule s effect) The project has been commissioned as an on-site research in the city quarter Europa Novacella, a place with a high percentage of elderly population of Italian mother tongue with migration background and financial hardness in the bilingual city of Bolzano. I have spent two months walking around, taking pictures, observing and talking to people, trying to understand how things go. My interactions were purposeless, I was trying to reach a level of honest communication, and the most stiking memories of these unrecorded confessions I have later jotted down in words. Final installtion with a book (text and pictures), video installation, postcards, tv-advertisements in local bars (see picture on the right). 43 miliardi di miliardi group exhibition, Il Cubo di Rubik project in the urban enrivonment curated by Coop19 for Resistenze Contemporanee Festival, Bolzano 2014 1/3
Parallely, a series of videos has been realized on game-based situations which provided an escape for social groups otherwise emarginated from society (unemployed migrants, elderly women, nerds). The relationships between hands at play symbolize a necessary communication which wouldn t otherwise be normally prossible. Stills from the videos 2/3

LA LEGGE DI JANTE (Jante s law) Psychological role-play drinking game dealing with taboo issues of life in small towns in Northern Italian Alps. This work has been developed, produced and performed as part of the LiveWorks Performance Art Award during 33rd Drodesera festival in Centrale Fies, Dro 2013. Nearly 150 people took part to it within a time span of 5 hours. Short video documentation: http://www.b-fies.it/2013_meinherz/ extra/video/25.html 1/2
This work deliberately mix several rules from different popoular drinking games. Players are served a glass of water, one player gets a glass of vodka, but he/she is not told to. Players need to find out who got the vodka but they are not allowed to speak. Only eye contact is allowed. Once the group majority agrees on the one guilty player, they can accuse him by speaking in choir one of the rules of Jante such as: 1 You re not to think you are anything special. 2 You re not to think you are as good as we are. 3 You re not to think you are smarter than we are. etc. The accused player now has to tell the truth and wears a hut (a copy of the typical carnival hut from Trentino region). If found unguilty he can decide about a punishment for the rest of the group (typically a group round of vodka). Before drinking the players have to read out fragments from a sociological research about taboos in their towns (including issues of femal depression and male acloholism). The bartendress clothes are instead a copy of a futuristic costume created adn sustained during Italian fascism in order to reinforce regional identities. 2/2
ICH LAD MICH GERNE EIN (M invito, e con piacere) Accidental encounters organized through an anounymous postcard and word of mouth. Inhabitants of the town of Lana are said to be unfriendly to Italian speaking population. I wanted to prove this is wrong. I created a postcard with which I would invite myself to the homes of the inhabitants of Lana for a coffee and a small talk. Nine people replied and invited me to their premises for breakfast, for lunch, for a little break or for dinner. While at their home without a purpose, we started introducing ourselves as persons with no intention and no role, drawing inspiration from personal life experiences, objects surrounding us in the house and facts happening while being there. Some very intense and honest talks arose from this encounters, where also a lot of confessions and secrets were told. The talks have not been recorded, but a picture was shot as a memory of that day. AL LIMITE (The limits of academic research) Enquiry about the degree of real freedom in academic research. How is reasearch supposed to be free in a hierachical context such as university? In a climate of financial cuttings to research and education, which role does scarsity, imagination and dream play? I have conducted an enquiry among friend researchers and young PhD students to analyse their expectations as children compared to their real life today. They have been complaining the lack of useful projects, the limitations of power and politics. We have investigated together about which kind of projects they would start if they had the freedom to do so and have constructively drafted a first concrete step in this direction. All texts have been kept anonymous for protecting their professional identity. Exhibition and lecture performance at Galleria Artra, Cose cosmiche 3rd Edition, Milano 2012 1/2

LA MIA VITA DIGITALE (My digital life) Experimental workshop with teenagers on digital technology and everyday life. At the core of the research is the quest for approaching space and human relationships through smartphones and visual media. The project spans from workshop direction, research, production to the exhibition set up and a catalogue with an essay. On the right side: This specific image: Finding a line, a point, a surface. Kids have to find these elements in the surrounding spaces. Once found and photographed with their smart phones, they have to run back and deliver their pickings. The first wins it all. After the group have reunited, smartphones are joined so that a group image of the findings is created. 1, 2, 3...stella! (also known as Statues, Red light, green light, Grandmother s footsteps ), group game in the local playground: at the stop kids had to take a random picture and freeze. This game was meant to support observation of the enviroment distanciating from selfie-culture. 2/3
Shared images and texts on the teenagers s Facebook account have been printed out to show their parents. This in order to demistify rumors about Facebook being only seen as a dangerous environment out of the parents control. The average contents shared by kids are innocent, some even witty and highly creative, a very small percentage had sex or racist contents and have not been displayed due to the presence of minors. NON T ARRABBIARE! (Frustration, like the game) Experimental game-like situations for children and adults based on the principles of strategy, hazard, unstability, chance, relationship, needs, future-telling. Play 3 Creative Residency winner, Ludiko/La Nuova Faro toy factory, Omegna 2012 On the right: photografic documentation for: Siamo alla frutta!, Kelly discoteque, Omegna. The game is a human fruit-machine, where each player receives a small transparent bag with three fruits. These need to be exchanged with others in order to reach a trio. The more trios, the more one approaches victory. 1/2

2004, Bolzano Che sfigata quella tipa! 2004, Bolzano She s so lame! What a slag! These were the first impressions my flatmate and I had of each other when we first met. We ended up having to live together and not having much choice, we had to learn to get on but we only talked to each other when it was absolutely necessary. Like this, we got to know each other slowly and after a while a good friendship developed. And up til now, we ve never actually had an argument. 2/2
APPUNTI PER 10 AZIONI POSSIBILI (Notes on 10 possible actions) A set of possibile performance propositions. In the image: documentation of performance from proposition nr. 4b. 4b. (proposal for the opening) Going around asking people/guests How are you doing? stressing the importance of their answer, asking even a second time Yes, but how are you really doing?. This is an experiment and I don t know where it will lead to. Workshop with Italo Zuffi Officine dell arte group exhibition, Careof/ DOCVA Milan 2011 1/2
Documentation of performance from proposition nr. 5. together with Ambra Pittoni. 5. (from poetry slam to spam slam) A challenge/war between two people by saying everything one can recall. Only rule: it all has to fit within one sentence, nevertheless the turn passes to the other player. The games is over when nothing else can be said. This action comes as reaction to Filippo s comments to my excessive interventions ( My desktop is full ). 2/2
C È CRISI! (There is a crisis!) Set of 3 books (newspapers, television, people), a research compendion, illustrations, a set of tarots. A visual investigation into how the economic crisis is perceived in Italy through information and daily routines. There is a crisis! (Newspapers) 16 x 22 cm, digital print on office paper, black and white Final dissertation, Bachelor in industrial design and visual communication, Free University of Bolzano 2009 1/5
There is a crisis! (Newspapers) This book displays 5 months of cover pages from Corriere della Sera (Italy s mainstream newspaper): the presence of crisis-related news has been measured, mapped and indexed. The projects aims to provide a scientifical system of measurement of emotions related to a historical fact while it is happening, providing a critical approach and multiple points of views. 3/5
There is a crisis! (Television News) The ambiguity of images become in this case a safe alternative when words are difficult to trust. Visual parameters are considered as a unit of information the same a letter or a number would do for literature or mathematics. 4/5
There is a crisis! (Tarots) Digital print on paper, colour Original ads from Corriere della Sera (the most read Italian newspaper), scanned and reworked as tarot cards. The tarots predicts the future as news should do; in this case advertisment becomes the truth, since buying a surface on a magazine is an economic evidence which determines which brands are surviving the crisis. 5/5
