Place of Act, 2015, Skylight gallery, KHIO, Oslo In collaboration with: Kenneth Enes Kristoffersen and Hans Marius Indahl From Norwegian Music Academy Ceramic vases whose shape is based on the real architecture of the Middle East. Tiered tower with a spiral external staircase originally s erved as a minaret in the pilgrimage town of Samarra in Iraq. Objects were used by musicians. For the first time they improvise on them on the exhibition in Oslo titled Place of Act. The event was at the border of a concert and performance. Now the action is repeated, but at a different place and shifted context. Simultaneously audiovisual material accumulates, but not as a documentation, but as a sound recording, a different perspective on the subject from the inside, where the sound is freed from its original musicality. dokumentation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f311nrjwbqa https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pbawiyv_5ia&feature=youtu.be
Glitter and Glow, 2015, video 3 05, paper Instalation was divided into two parts - inside and outside. The underground corridor was filled with the sound of video. In contrast, the outer part of the installation was just the silent projection on a glass. Some windows were covered with white paper Initially unclear scene with a single static shot. The ultimate portrait behind a transparent desk, allows viewers to watcheverything that happens in the face without taking part in. Monotonous movement is performed to exhaustion, creating a subtle narrative. On one side there is a portrait and on the other side, public space filled with lively running, lights, stores and advertisements. With booming sound plexiglass displayed bustle of Prague metro vestibul. Video deals with the theme of isolation, suppressed aggression. It is pulsating audiovisual imagination of underground or unconscious. Video 3 05 : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xqgfrh2m4y0

in front/beneath, 2015, Pokoje2 together with Veronika Přikrylová Exhibition entitled in front/beneath is above all striving to articulate space: to grasp it, to mesure it, to tame it, to explore it. The stage is set by Veronika Přikrylová and its mantinels are clear the walls and the horizon defined by a lamp and a painted line following the parapet height. The surface of floor offers a terrain where the process of preparation gains the character of event, where the horizon points out the territory while exploring the surroundings assuming the role of nagative space. The field, taken seriously, becomes the first statement. Despite the clarity of stage design, its scale is dellusive: Barbora Dayef 's Beds are both monumental and intimate. Mountains created by her body imprinting into clay.
Its shapes captured on photography are also the link between mikro and makro landscape. Medium of photography, the medium always questioning the scale of image, represents another fassette of the installation text: Sláva Sobotovičová Blankets, 2014, clay, fabric Comparing personal landscape and natural terrain, the installation deals with the human relation to land. The motive of blanket, clothing or fabric in general plays a fundamental role of intermediary. The point of departure for the entire piece was an illusive photography of seemingly large mountains.
Turban, 2014, 100 x 130 x 90 centimetres, fabric, wood Turban, a holy headgear, expresses a certain social status. It is a symbolical crown on faithful's head. Usually worn by male authority, the turban uses the fabric to underline its wearer's importance. The animated turban is staggering around on its thin legs sainted by the green color, the color of Muhammed. The reason behind my decision to deal with this topic is my Arabic ancestry. Turban is my father's portrait. Weight, 2014, video - performance, 11 38 An absurd, hyperbole using drama thematizing father-daugther relationship. It ends with a seeming happyend. It is both celebration and dehonestation. It follows a constant striving to cope with an authority, a fierce effort which despite all remains ridiculous and lacking any positive outcome. The result of the entire event is rather a stalemate situation caused by the burden, the collateral effect of the activity. Symptomatically, this unclosed issue is re-opened on a swing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r2vuhakdahs&list=uudregdbhs6zzo3qjgzzhbjq
