COMMANDO GUMBOOTS Sandford Industries Commando TM gumboots are a high performance range designed and constructed to meet the demands of the commercial, industrial and retail sectors. Our Commando TM Industrial gumboots contain an antimicrobial additive which is effective against a wide range of fungal and bacterial organisms. The active ingredient is highly compatible with the polymeric composition of the gumboots and is resistant to leaching by water, aqueous acids, alkalis, soaps, detergents, bloods and animal fats. Our gumboots also come in four colours to suit both your work environment and Health and Safety requirements. For the family Sandford Industries has created a Nipper, Youth and Women s gumboot that are made from a high performance PVC, designed and constructed to meet the demands of everyday life. COMMANDO TOUGH The Commando Tough s sole compound is purposefully designed to withstand the toughest environments in the food processing industry. We guarantee that the sole on our Tough s will last 30% longer* than any other New Zealand made gumboot. *tested for endurance over six months by the staff at a major New Zealand freezing works. LICENSED GUMBOOTS Functionality and fan loyalty combined in one gumboot the cornerstone of NZ footwear. The story of the relationship between Sandford Industries and the All Blacks goes back to early 2012, when a few national players visited our operation after the Christchurch earthquake to give our team new hope, support and energy. Inspired with new ideas and motivation we decided that support and loyalty are key characteristics of our brand. We realized that we could do more with our gumboots and introduced the NZRU licensed gumboots to our product range in 2015. These gumboots feature the same material and additives as our Commando gumboot and are designed to meet the heavy demands of industrial and everyday life. As a result, our footwear not only supports workers and families, but also enables teenagers and children to show their loyalty to their favorite national and provincial team. 9

SUSTAINABILITY: Being a conscious New Zealand company, Sandford Industries pride ourselves in our sustainability programme. We understand that waste product is created during the manufacturing process and we have implemented systems to minimise the effect it has on the environment. Sandford Industries currently has three recycling processes in place; one for all cardboard waste, one for our plastics and our major one being for PVC. When manufacturing our gumboots PVC waste is sent to Matta Products to use in their production of safety matting used in children s play- grounds. For 18 years Matta Products have used recycled PVC to create these mats.
