SPRING SUMMER 2015//16
There s nothing I enjoy more than rolling up my sleeves, unpacking my pencils and designing clutches. The craft of making something excites me always has. When I m in one of our workshops overseas, I completely immerse myself in my work. I can test shapes, play with materials and experiment with treatments to my heart s content. I can have the beginnings of a clutch appear before me that only a couple of hours or days before had been an idea, first fleshed out as a sketch and then handed over to the technical team and voilà...a clutch! A few months ago, when starting to conceive this new collection, I sought to put more emphasis on those unique little pieces that not only indulge my passion but that act as highlights within the range. Many of these indulgences are limited to only 20 pieces making them very special. SPRING SUMMER 2015//16 This season s palette is inspired by the beautiful abstract visions of artist Lara Merrett. Not unlike Lara s work, no less than 10 different shades of Blue and 8 shades of Pink ranging from watery and translucent to shocking and opaque conspire amongst an array of others to offer boundless choices and options within a much larger palette. The oversized Elke faceted clutch, emerging as our new classic is given a new voice when re-coloured in Aqua, Poppy Red, Yellow and Fuchsia evoking the fun of brightly coloured candy. Another classic shape, the Lara, is interpreted this Summer in a hi-shine Metallic Reptile Emboss with a sleek metal tipped flap showing that even a small bag can have a large personality. The Josie minaudière, an elongated pod with its minimal hardware, is the perfect canvas for an abstract multi coloured print. Then there s the glamorous Izzy bag, which combines a brushed gold frame with random multi coloured crystal gems evoking an evening at Maxime s Supper Club in Paris. Olga Berg Summer 15/16 is all about texture, rich lustrous color and luxurious fabrics that lend a twist of rock chic to your glamour. We hope you love it as much as we do.
