PROGRAM CONTRAINDICACIONES Opposition, conflict, dissent, discussion... the language offers many words with varied tones to talk about the same question: how thought is generated in the impact of ideas and values, based on a series of positions that they run in parallel, forced to cross and defend themselves by opposition. The approximation of opposing ideas, made a priori, before they are put into common, can only lead to a voluntary reduction of its postulates, to a reflection the less reduced of its intrinsic reason in favor of an idea of agreement that can be harmful for the parties, and also for the whole. We have created a status of thinking that dangerously combines ideas under the formula that all must be equally good or just the opposite: equally harmful. "Contraindicaciones" aims to alter this current budget by inviting the galleries and artists to break both the unity of thought. We want, in a non-ideal exhibition framework and subject to the limitations of a market, serve as a revulsive: confront ideas and aesthetics hardly comparable, and break the uses and modes of exhibition using other past or possible canons in the exhibition mode. Become daring in the way of arranging the works within the canon of the fair exhibition display, and appeal to artists, currents, aesthetics and reasoning of difficult coexistence. Daring to contradict us, to oppose us, to discuss and generate other possible aesthetic and visual discourses. Putting together what precisely we do not believe that it should be served together. The participant galleries are: Espacio Valverde, Madrid Ponce + Robles, Madrid Isabel Hurley, Málaga Espacio Olvera, Sevilla EspaiTactel, Valencia Saro León, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
SOLO PROJECTS In addition, this exhibition will show a series of 5 Solo Projects of a few artists from the following galleries: José de la Fuente (Santander) with Tania Blanco, Rafael Pérez Hernando (Madrid) with Felicidad Moreno, ATM (Gijón) with Jesús Herrera, F2 (Madrid) with Katja Angeli and Rosa Santos (Valencia) with Mira Bernabeu.
GUEST ARTIST : ÁNGELA DE LA CRUZ Ángela de la Cruz (A Coruña, 1965), guest artist in this edition, will be present on the fair with the exhibition of a series of paintings made specifically for the fair, awarded in 2017 with the National Prize of Plastic Arts. She will also be the main character of one of the forums that will analyze, leaded by Fernando Castro Flórez, the renewal and the transgression in Spanish painting. Ángela de la Cruz moved in the late 80 s to London after graduating in Philosophy and Arts in the College of Santiago de Compostela. She begun to study in Chelsea College of Art and afterwards in the Goldsmiths College and Slade School of Art. Since then, her artistic background has not stop increasing and has experienced key moments such as her exhibition in Camden Arts Center entitled After, and for which that same year, 2010 was nominated for the Turner Prize. Seven years later (2017) she was awarded with the National Prize for Plastic Arts.

Between Relating and Use (NazliDincel) This program is completed with two round tables that will be developed in a performative manner and whom main characters are: Marla Jacarilla, whose works with falsification based on discourse, and Eulalia Valldosera, whose work unfolds from phenomenology and the psyche.
INTERNATIONAL ARTISTIC RESIDENCIES For three years in a row, hablarenarte organizes Residencies Exchange, the Curatorial Program of ESTAMPA, with the support of the Spanish Cultural Action Program (AC / E) for the Internationalization of Spanish Culture (PICE) and the collaboration of AECID and Matadero Madrid. The meeting, parallel to the Estampa Fair, has as its main objective to introduce them to the Spanish artistic sphere and generate networks between local and international cultural agents, at the same time that it places value on the figure of artistic residences as fundamental spaces for the support of creation. Participants of Residencies Exchange will be Lily Liu of Taipei Artist Village (Taipei, Taiwan), Christoph Tannert of Künstlerhaus Bethanien (Berlin, Germany), Anne Langlois of 40m Cube Generator (Rennes, France), Sally From Kunst to Arc Artistic Residency (Romainmôtier, Switzerland), Piotr Sikora from Meet Factory (Prague, Czech Republic), Helen Carey from Fire Station (Dublin, Ireland) and Elisa Troiano from Cripta747 (Turin, Italy).
