47 Egypt Medal with Tel El Kebir clasp correctly but indistinctly named 222*** N Benham 1/CAMN HIGHRS along with a bronze Khedive Star 1882, both swing mounted on a metal brooch bar on long lengths of original ribbon, condition is commensurate with medals that have been worn often, good condition, plus WW1 sweetheart brooch and propaganda Iron Cross 250-300 48 WW2 Swing Mounted Medal Group of 5 including Africa Star with 8th Army clasp and Italy Star, plus Old Comrades beret with original 10th Royal Hussars hat badge and two brass XRH shoulder titles 90-120 49 Navy General Service Medal awarded to Frederick Bell who served in the Royal Navy 1793-1827, with clasps for Basque Roads 1809 and St Sebastian, the medal is correctly named on the rim FREDK BELL with a good length of original ribbon, 551 Clasps were awarded for Basque Roads and 288 for the St Sebastian action Aug-Sep 1813. Bell was serving on HMS Martial, a 12 gun Brig at Basque Roads and on the 5th Rate HMS Freija, captured by the British at the Battle of Copenhagen in 1807, at St Sebastian 3000-3500 50 RAF Leather Flying Helmet complete with face mask, microphone, headphones and electric cables, headphones stamped AM, plus civilian gas mask in cotton carrying case 150-200 51 Cased display of British military badges, buttons etc. including King's Regiment, Cheshire Regiment etc. plus two brass shell cases 50-80 52 A British WW2 Airborne Equipment Pannier/Drop Basket 100-150 53 RAF Distinguished Flying Medal Group to Sergeant Harold Bennett, consisting of a Distinguished Flying Medal, Air Crew Europe Star, 39/45 Star, Defence and War Medals. The DFM is correctly named 570107 Sgt H Bennett RAF with a long length of ribbon, this medal is very worn through heavy polishing. The Air Crew Europe Star shows all attributes of a genuine medal. The DFM was awarded to Sgt Bennett for helping the pilot to fly a Lancaster Bomber back to England following severe flack damage while on a bombing mission over Germany. This important group comes with a considerable quantity of ephemera including Certificate of Service & Discharge, DFM letter from Buckingham palace, serving and veterans photographs, RAF related books and other paperwork 300-1000 54 A WW2 Air Raid Siren in original crate 200-250 6
