RULES The Wall of Fame Belgium 2019 Please read this information carefully before you start making your submission. This will prevent mistakes and disappointments.

1. INTRODUCTION The Hair Games 2019 is the second edition of the event of the hairdressing sector, organized by Coiffure.org. A concept where congress, exhibition, competition and shows & party are combined. The Hair Games is a top event by and for the hairdressing industry. What is The Wall of Fame? During The Hair Games, Coiffure.org organizes a (photo) competition for and by the hairdresser, The Wall of Fame, in which a total concept of hairstyle, styling and make-up is essential. It is important for hairdressers to share their creativity and talent with one another, to inspire each other and to create a hairstyle that they want to share with everyone. The photos of the hairstyles created for The Wall of Fame could be used as window display in your hairdressing salon or could be published in trade journals. The Wall of Fame is the perfect occasion for looking for talent, inspiring each other and discovering new trends. Where and when does the competition takes place? The competition The Wall of Fame will take place during The Hair Games on Sunday 27 January 2019 at Brussels Kart Expo. Who is this competition for? For every hairdresser living in Belgium. COMPETITION PROCESS Coiffure.org composes a jury of an uneven number of people, both nationally and internationally known in the hairdressing sector. The jury is independent, excluded from participation and has no professional or family ties with the participants. The jury takes all its decisions by an absolute majority. In the event of equality of votes, the chairman has a casting vote.

Submissions that meet the conditions for participation will be anonymously submitted to the jury. In order to guarantee the anonymity of the photos for the jury, Coiffure.org will provide special coding for the photos. From all submissions that meet the conditions for participation, the jury will nominate the 3 best hairstyles per category. The nominees per category can only be selected if there are at least 7 participants and if the jury considers the submissions to be of sufficient quality. All participants will be informed by e-mail, at the latest on 15 January 2019, whether or not their hairstyle has been nominated for The Wall of Fame. During The Hair Games, the photos of the nominated hairstyles per category will be showed to the public at The Wall of Fame. Every person present at The Hair Games, with the exception of Coiffure.org and the jury, will have the opportunity to cast 1 vote per category for his or her favourite hairstyle. The individual winner is selected by counting the votes per category. From each individual winner of the categories Ladies, Men & Barber, Avant-Garde, Color, the jury chooses The Hairdresser of the Games and from each individual winner of the categories Young Talent Ladies, Young Talent Men & Barber, Young Talent Avant- Garde, Young Talent Color, the jury chooses the Young Hairdresser of the Games. A bailiff will oversee both the verification of the count of votes and the judging. For each judgement, the jury always looks for the best photos in the field of hairdressing, not just the most beautiful photos. Hairdressing craftsmanship must be rewarded, where creativity, innovation and international allure take centre stage!
