Use hairspray/gel to secure the hair and slick away flyaway hairs. Headpieces will be secured backstage and are to be secured firmly with bobby pins, hair elastics, hairnets and clips that match the student's hair color so please send students to the backstage area with these items on hand as well as a hairbrush and safety pins. COSTUME ITEMS & PROFESSIONAL APPEARANCE Please ensure all costume items are labeled with students names. Students are asked NOT to wear underwear underneath their tights and bodysuits. Tights and bodysuits are in place of underwear. It is incredibly unprofessional to do otherwise. Jewelry, with the exception of small earring studs or medical alert bracelets, will not be allowed on stage. This includes friendship bracelets, necklaces, and rings. ABSOLUTELY NO COLORED NAILPOLISH! Only clear or natural looking nails. Please ensure students have a clean appearance; no marker or pen writings on their hands or remnants of temporary tattoos etc.
