The ENNACOMPLEX 273 can also be used in aftershaves and after depilatory products. The product contains a balance blend of Hamamelis leaf, Oak bark, Apple leaf, and Rose flower extracts. Recommended use level: 3 12% HydroSal 1 Fragrance (Water, Fragrance, Polyvinyl Alcohol, Acrylates/C12-22 Alkylmethacrylate Copolymer, Phenethyl Alcohol, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin). HydroSal Fragrance is a time-release technology that provides extended fragrance release from water-based products. When applied to skin, fragrances are quick to evaporate, making their impact short-lived. HydroSal prolongs aroma intensity, provides a water-triggered bloom, and can neutralise malodor. Suitable for water-based applications such as sprays, creams, and lotions. Recommended use level: 1.00 6.67% HydroSal 2 Fragrance (Propylene Glycol, Fragrance, Nonoxynol-9, Hydroxypropylcellulose, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin). Suitable for clear, hydroalcoholic applications such as perfumes and colognes. Recommended use level: 1.00 6.67% HydroSal BKC (INCI: Water, Polyvinyl Alcohol, Benzalkonium Chloride, Ethyl Alcohol, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Acrylates Copolymer). BKC (Benzalkonium Chloride) extends protection from microbes, pathogens, bacteria, viruses, fungi, and protozoa. It has consistently been the disinfectant of choice for hospitals. HydroSal BKC was designed to achieve a better utilisation of BKC, while replacing alcoholbased antiseptics, at low concentration. HydroSal BKC is an encapsulation technology comprised of sub-micron spheres approximately 0.1 to 0.3 microns in diameter. These spheres are infused with BKC and form a clear product. The HydroSal technology allows for time release and longerlasting effects, extending the time of protection from microbes. The product is effective upon application. In addition, it can be re-activated long after initial application, when exposed to water or perspiration. The shell is able to assemble and lock in the BKC while drying. Once in contact with water after drying out, the shell dissolves and exposes the BKC again. This feature allows the system to provide maximum protection in areas that are exposed to cycles of dampness and dryness. The protection is needed most in damp/wet conditions because these conditions are favourable for bacteria growth, such as the under arm and foot. Suitable for sanitisers, disinfectants, anti-acne applications such as lotions and sprays, mouth washes and cleansers. Recommended inclusion level: 0.7-1.0% MultiSal Menthol 30 (Sodium Starch Octenylsuccinate, Menthol, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) Extract, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Hydrated Silica). MultiSal Menthol is specifically designed for anhydrous applications that require a higher temperature in processing, for instance soap bars or solid AP sticks. Menthol evaporates at typical processing temperatures (around 80 C).The consequences of this are twofold: 1. Menthol vapor is irritating to eyes and lungs, thus filling the production environment with it is unsafe; 2. Menthol is lost, either reducing the concentration in the final product, or making it necessary to use more to make it the right concentration. MultiSal Menthol protects the active from evaporation, even under elevated temperatures (up to 160 C). Additionally menthol has a natural, medicinal odor that may be undesirable for certain applications. MultiSal Menthol reduces the unpleasant menthol odor making it more satisfying to the consumer. Suitable for anhydrous applications such as lotions, body powders, foot care, lip care, analgesics, soap bars, and deodorant sticks. Recommended use levels: Lip care: 1%; Skin care: 2-5%; Pain relief: 4-8%; Foot care: 7-20%
MultiSal Naturally Smooth (INCI: Maltodextrin, Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Powder, Colloidal Oatmeal, Sodium Bicarbonate, Hydrated Silica (amorphous), Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Carica Papaya (Papaya) Fruit, Bromelain) Encapsulated salicylic acid (SA) is best known for the treatment of dermatitis, acne, psoriasis, calluses, and more. It works as a keratoic, comedolytic and bacteriostatic agent, causing the cells of the epidermis to shed more readily, opening clogged pores and neutralising the bacteria within. The active ingredients that help to treat these skin conditions are papyia, bromelien, and suprapein. The MultiSal technology provides extended release onto the skin, exposing the skin to small amounts of SA overtime. This unique feature allows higher levels of SA to remain on the skin for several hours, for better efficacy and acne-fighting power without irritation. An important benefit of the MultiSal technology is enhanced efficacy from a rinse-off application. The cationic charge of the shell s surface provides superior adhesion onto the skin. This benefit makes it a valuable technology for products that are rinsed off the skin shortly after application. Recommended use level: Cosmetic: Up to 1.67, OTC: 1.67-6.67, Rx: Over 6.67. reinforces the skin s own natural defences. Recommended use level: 0.5-3% SalScent (Propylene Glycol, Nonoxynol-9, Hydroxypropylcellulose, Polyvinylpyrrolidone, Beta-Cyclodextrin, Polyvinyl alcohol, Sodium carboxymethylcellulose, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin). SalScent is customisable fragrance technology that increases fragrance value by boosting longevity, releasing on demand and easing formulation. It can easily be employed in clear water or hydro-alcoholic bases without the need for any specialised equipment. Provides moisture triggered bursts, making it ideal for deodorant products (perspiration triggered). For maximum longevity, a ratio of 1:2 (neat fragrance: SalScent ) is recommended. SKINVEIL 500 (INCI: Sericin) is a Seresin protein extracted as a waste biproduct from the production of Silk. Unlike other proteins of this nature, the full molecular weight is maintained by extracting the material through a patented precise process, thus ensuring a minimum size of 500 kda. The exceptionally large size confers a bioactivity to the molecule that is lacking in smaller, degraded proteins from a similar source. Its high level of purity is obtained through a precisely controlled pharmaceutical grade lyophilisation process. SKINVEIL 500 helps to soothe skin irritation, visibly calms redness, restores Epidermis protection and
