The collection includes the flirty and fabulous F-3540 & F3541, both made with lightweight stainless steel and decorated by laser etching techniques. The F-3540 temple designs are beautifully etched to resemble the inner workings of a butterfly wing, with spaces in between each scale to prevent too much busyness around the face. OGI Reminiscing iconic cat eye portrayal, the 9216 enters the Ogi Eyewear collection with refined craftsmanship. Featuring distinct cat eye peaks, this style synthesizes timeless elegance with an enduring swooping brow adjoined by premium acetate. UNISEX MATCH: HELIUM When it comes to menswear fashion, much is made of sprezzatura and its distinction among Italian men. Elegant and sleek, style 4274 is a metal frame in a multi-dimensional woven metal pattern resembling the grain of a fine tweed fabric; this same woven pattern is realized in acetate style 4285, a bold matte acetate with strong style characteristics. MARCHON This unisex frame is the first foldable model in the Lacoste Eyewear collection. Aligned with the brand philosophy, the style emphasizes Lacoste s DNA with its comfortable and functional design. It seamlessly blends sportswear with a cool, dynamic and contemporary aesthetic. The frame is customized with the Croc logo featured on both temples along with the Lacoste logo engraved on the inner metal bridge. OGI The Roosevelt by Seraphin Eyewear radiates refinement and class. Rich earth tones emphasize its two-tone matte and glossy finish on both the front and temples for a sleek and masculine look. Featuring raised diamond shaped accents, a smooth swooping brow and a flattering rectangular shape, the Roosevelt is a must have frame. Finished off with signature chrome hinge accents and the fleur-de-lis emblem. 22 Optical Prism September 2015
Glimpses published in Canada Gazette on October 18, 2014 for consultation. Comments were overwhelming in support of the new regulations, particularly from vision care professional groups. The new regulations relating to non-corrective contact lenses will come into effect July 16, 2016. GOVERNMENT ADOPTS MEASURES TO MAKE COSMETIC CONTACT LENSES SAFER. The Honourable Rona Ambrose, Minister of Health, announced today that Health Canada is advancing regulations that will require the same medical-device safety standards for non-corrective or cosmetic contact lenses as prescription or corrective contact lenses. These types of lenses have been regulated as consumer products. However the risks of decorative lenses are identical to the risks of corrective lenses and adverse events causing harm and even permanent damage to the eyes are not uncommon. As medical devices, cosmetic contact lenses will be subject to specific requirements for licensing, manufacturing, labeling, and instructions to improve their safety before they go on the market. The proposed changes to the Medical Device Regulations were ADLENS SIGNS EXCLUSIVE DISTRIBUTION DEAL WITH D&COMPANY NORDIC AB Adlens, the global leader in adjustable focus eyewear, has signed a new distribution partnership with D&Company Nordic AB, opening doors for consumers to discover Adlens adjustable focus eyewear across the Nordic and Baltic states.
