Here is the color palate that I am currently enjoying working in when I create my painted glass chandeliers. These combinations are my favorites to paint and they work well within modern, traditional, beach, rustic and eclectic homes. You can use some of these ideas to help describe to me what you are looking for in my work. It s important to note that none of my chandeliers are patterns they are all free flow originals and many are complexly painted. When my chandeliers are hanging, they can be very different from one to another and from side to side. Every single client receives a unique chandelier no two are alike. All of my chandeliers are painted only be me and all are hand crafted here in my studio. Within these current color combinations I create endless Original chandeliers. Often my clients have a very difficult time choosing between my different examples and colors...so that s where this color palate comes in use: it is designed to help you explore complimentary colors for your Space. The different snap shots of flower and color combinations should help you to see what is possible for your chandelier. These are all taken from recent chandeliers. I have sold hundreds of painted glass chandeliers and through the years my concepts and color combinations change organically. I am always looking for new trends...and that said, every year I do many commissions based on client color palates. More Blues and Purples Create Cooler Toned Lights Blues, purples, greens and magentas create a cool yet sophisticated combination of hues Darker cobalt blue with other cool colored hues make a light dramatic Purples, lavender, magenta, cobalt blue, vibrant green and pops of gold bring spring into a room with cooler hues Soft light blue and light lavender background hues create an ocean inspired feeling Vibrant Hawaiian tropical color themes can be painted endlessness and always and bring aloha into a space Blue and green hued grapes and background make a lovely daylight themed mixed floral and vineyard piece
Vineyards and some Neutrals...often placed in Tuscan and Traditional homes Neutral hues for Vineyard and Floral Themes, background hues are composed of extremely light subtle hues, conservative hues Umber and soft golden hues with accents of moss greens and mauve go well with traditional settings that require elegance Umber and soft mauve hues are accented with reds, oranges, mossy greens and burgundy colors in the grapes Golden hues accented with mauve and cool misty gray blue allows for more background color variation. Grapes can be multi-colored. Golden hues with soft mossy greens can have accent colors, lavishly layered very elegant Mauve and soft mossy green and earthy golden colors are also great for conservatively decorated home very beautiful
Aqua Colored Oceans The ocean chandeliers...i could paint endlessly and they would always be different one to the other. Soft colors weave throughout. Darker blues and purples with streaming sunlight and brightly colored fish and my original sea jewels Abstract bubbles, angle fish and beautiful aquas Sea turtles and streaming rays of light with dolphins...and busier scene Soft pale water colors with reef fish and brightly colored coral Soft greens are lovely with aqua blue waters
Aqua Colored Oceans More light streaming into a LARGE chandelier that is at The Point at Poipu in Kauai At The Point at Poipu in Kauai, this was a sea turtle piece Purples and blues with pops of yellow and orange A lot of my ocean reef chandeliers have vibrant yet expressive coral reef elements Sea turtles add wonderful dimension into my work and I paint them in as many different positions as possible My style has a very organic and free flowing nature and a lot of movement is incorporated into my work.
Volcanic Black Lava Oceans that incorporate Black accents A completely original idea, mixed abstract and flowing Hawaiian lava, this piece was titled Oceans of Fire true works of art More of my sea jewels, Hawaiian lava in my Land to Sea Collections Some of these concepts incorporate more ocean themed sections and these have been beautiful for those who also love abstracts Hot molten lava separates sections of ocean life in this thriving volcanic reef Sea turtles add tremendous movement This piece mixes both the warmer hues and the ocean sections as an abstract volcanic reef chandelier
Abstracts in Earthy and Vibrant Desert Themed Colors Earthy tones inspired by the Arizona desert are the basis for this lovely flowing abstract in my signature abstract style Hot reds, oranges, purples, yellows, greens with hints of blues and turquoise make for a vibrant punchier abstract Glowing greens contrast vibrantly with blues, magentas, orange, purples and golds in my signature abstract style Desert flowers are mixed into this blue and purple hued abstract with the accents of orange, blue and yellow My signature abstract style in Multi-Colors make for a very primary colored piece Cool blues, purples, reds and magentas

If you compare background hues in small sections, you will notice that subtle differences can make a chandelier overall more a specific color in these mostly wall-to-wall flower chandeliers. That could be the difference that you are looking for in a painted chandelier.
