Note: n Do not immerse the product into water. n Do not use the product during bathing or showering. n Do not use water to rinse the product. n The product cannot be cleaned by dishwasher. n Do not place the product in a humidity area, ensure that the skin is dry condition during use. n The trimming blade is extremely sharp, to prevent injuries, ensure that the blade does not touch the skin at all times during use. 5
n If the product or any other part is damaged, do not re-use it. Otherwise, it may cause harm to human body. n When the product is not used, keep the product at safety place to avoid dust buildup inside the product. n Make sure that the supply voltage corresponds with the voltage marked on the rating label of the adaptor. n During product cleaning, ensure to turn off the power and remover the adaptor. Do not wrap the cord around the appliance. n Do not use the product at wound or inflammatory area, and 6
allergic skin. n Do not make any alteration to the product, or give it to unofficial professional people to do maintenance. 7
Charging process 1. Before using the product at the first time, the battery must be fully charged, which will take about 14 hours. 2. With a fully charged battery, the product can be operated for around 50 minutes. If you experience a considerable decrease in trimming performance, switch off the product and recharge the battery. Charging with unit: Firstly, slide down the "On/Off" switch button of the trimmer to turn off the power of the product. Insert the connecting plug of the adaptor into the corresponding jack located at the bottom of the product. Insert the adaptor into a suitable wall socket. Charging with stand: Firstly, slide down the "On/Off" switch button of the trimmer to turn off the power of the product. Insert the connecting plug of the adaptor into the corresponding jack located at the back side of charging stand. Insert the 8
adaptor into a suitable wall socket. Once the charging process is completed, always remove the adaptor from the wall socket first before disconnecting the jack from the charging stand. The transformer within the adaptor will become warm while charging. This is normal and safe, and does not indicate a malfunction of any kind. Insert the adaptor into a suitable wall socket. The charging process begins automatically. The red charge indicator at the lower side remains lit as long as the product is connected to the mains. If the product has not been used for a long period, the capacity of the battery may decrease by a certain amount. However, full capacity will be restored after several charge/ discharge cycles. 9
Usage 1. Changing the trimming head To remove the trimmer head, turn the " " mark of the trimmer head anti-clockwise aligning to the " " mark of main body to unlock it. Pull the trimmer head off. To fit the trimming head, put the " " mark of trimmer head aligning to " " mark of main body, and turn the " " mark of the trimmer head clockwise aligning to " " mark of main body to lock it. 10
2. Fitting the push-on comb The product is provided with two kinds of push-on comb attachments, it allows to cut at four different kinds of length. The smaller comb is suitable for 3mm and 6mm, the larger comb for 9mm and 12mm. The comb attachments can only be used with the 30mm trimming head. There are two holes, located at the trimming head, to fix the comb setting. To fix the comb attachment, according to requested trimming length to be outward, push the comb attachment upward from the bottom of the main unit 11
until it is fixed to the holes of trimmer head. To remove a push-on comb, push it upwards from the side. 3. Operation Slide up the "On/Off" switch button of the trimmer to turn on the power, while slide down to turn off the power. 12
Depending on the desired shape or style, either the wide or the small trimming head may be used. For longer beards, it is suggested to use 30mm trimmer head with push-on comb attachments for trimming. The beard or hair is generally cut against the natural direction of growth. Please stop using the product if feeling uncomfortable during use. Clean and Maintenance It is essential to switch off the product and then remove the adaptor from the wall socket before cleaning. To avoid the risk of electric shock, the product and the adaptor must not be immersed in liquid or even allowed to come into contact with liquid. Do not use compressed air, steel wire brush, abrasive cleaning agent or corrosive liquid to clean the product. After each use, use the cleaning brush to remove hair from between the trimming comb and blade. Ensure a better trimming performance, do product cleaning and maintenance regularly. The trimming comb and blade can be removed for cleaning. 13
1. Turn off the power. 2. Remove the trimming blade from the main body. 3. Use the brush to clean and remove the hair residues on the blade. 4. Use clean water to rinse the hair residues of the detached blade. 5. Remove excess water after cleaning. Keep the blade to be opened and let it dry completely. 6. After the blade is completely dry, install the blade back to the main body and store the product in dry place. Note: Do not use towel or paper towel to wipe the trimmer blade, it may damage the blade and the connecting shaft. During the fitting or removing of blade head, ensure the product and the adaptor has been disconnected. Do not use hairdryer or heater to dry the product, it may make the product to be deformation and mechanical failure. 14
Do not place the product at sunlight or high temperature directly. Environmental protection This product contains a rechargeable Ni-Mh battery pack, which cannot be removed and must be disposed of together with the product. In order to protect the environment, when the product life time is end, do not waste the product with other household rubbish. Put it into recycle point instructed by the government. 15
Warranty Defects affecting product functionality appearing within the guarantee period will be corrected by replacement or repair at our option, provided the product is used and maintained in accordance with the instructions. Warranty service provided at part or entire product repair or replacement, it will be terminated up to the end of warranty period. Defects from repair by an unauthorized dealer are not covered. Guarantee period is 2 years from first retail purchase. To get maintenance or repairing service, please bring the product with purchased invoice, and contact local or closer distributor or service station. Contains a listed adaptor.
