Golding Young & Mawer 1864 Golding Young at Grantham Collective Sale - Part One Started Feb 14, 2018 10am GMT Saleroom 1 The Grantham Auction Rooms Old Wharf Road Grantham Lincolnshire NG31 7AA United Kingdom Lot Description 1 An antique cup and cover, of campana form, with part gadrooned domed lid, surmounted by a compressed finial, the crested and banded body of similar design flanked by acanthus capped handles on a squat stem and circular foot, cancelled marks with LAO 9187 case number mark to cup and cover, 34cm high,...[more] 2 A late 19thC copper and brass samovar, the inverted circular body surmounted by a circular lid and flanked by pot and scroll handles, on a circular stem and platform base terminating in leafy feet, the whole fronted by a brass tap with ceramic centre section, 53cm high. 3 An early 20thC Sherborne copper milk churn, the compressed circular top marked Hunt's Dairies, with a shouldered body flanked by shaped handles, 70cm high. 4 A 20thC Waterford crystal table lamp, with (removable) shade and a hobnail cut banding on an inverted stem with electrical fitting, marks beneath, 37cm high. 5 A walking stick, with repoussé decorated silver knop and metal tip end, 89cm high. 6 FW Brown (fl. early 20thC).
