01 VOTIVE RELIEF Palazzo Poli ollection White marble relief depicting a water Nymph and a male figure, sitting on a rock, facing each other. The woman is wrapped, at the bottom, by a pleated cloak which rises behind the head, her right arm rests on the rock, while the left rests on a vase (stamnos) from which flows a stream of water. In her hand she holds a marsh reed. The man, bearded, his head crowned with ivy, wears only a light coat on the legs, with the left hand he holds an object that has the shape of a stick. IV century B..

02 HERM WITH BEARDED DIVINITY Palazzo Poli ollection White marble herm with head depicting a male deity, Hermes or Dionysus. The hair, arranged in double row of spiral curls over the forehead and wavy locks on the calotte, is encircled by a large band. The face is framed by a thick beard of spiral curls in the upper part and with elongated curls in the lower part. It is a decorative work which elaborates models of Greek sculpture of the sixth century B.. I century A.D.

03 PUTTO HEAD Palazzo Poli ollection White marble head of a chubby-faced putto. The hair, arranged in curls with a small braid up to the center of the head, is held over the forehead by a crown of leaves. II century A.D.

04 PUTEAL FRAGMENT Merolli-FATA ollection The fragment of white marble, pertinent to a puteal (parapet of a well or an altar), is decorated with a relief on which is depicted a dancing Maenad of the Dionysian procession. With the right hand she holds the thyrsus (stick crowned with ivy) and with the left a fawn. The head and the right arm are integrations of a modern restoration. I century A.D.

05 FRAGMENT OF BASIN Palazzo Poli ollection White marble fragment of a fountain basin with a fluted surface. Roman Imperial Age

06 SUPPORT Assicurazioni Generali Excavations 1902-1904 Support of white marble with molded base and smooth shaft. It probably sustained a piece of furniture. Roman Imperial Age

07 FRAGMENT OF UP Palazzo Poli ollection Fragment of white marble cup with handles. The outer surface is decorated with beads and vegetal elements. The rim is decorated with a row of ovoli. First half of the I century A.D.

13 FRAGMENT OF RELIEF Merolli-FATA ollection White marble fragment of relief on which is depicted a female figure, in profile to the left, with the body totally wrapped in a cloak. The fragment belongs to a relief with Nymphs of neo-attic production known from different replicas. Early Imperial Age

14 FRAGMENT OF RELIEF Merolli-FATA ollection White marble fragment of relief with female figure, in profile to the right, playing a tympanum. The figure could be identified as a Maenad tympanistria of the Dionysian procession. I century A.D.

15 FRAGMENT OF RELIEF Palazzo Poli ollection White marble fragment of relief with the lower part of a female figure seen in profile. The right foot is resting on the ground, while the left has the heel slightly raised. The woman wears a chiton and a slight himàtion (cloak). The figure moves forward and could be identified with a dancer of the Dionysian procession. I century A.D.
