TOTE BAG INITIATIVE Storing Valuables Sustainably A tote bag initiative that rejuvenates the cultural atmosphere by creating awareness about the changes in Vancouver Chinatown. Through using an illustration of the Millennium Gate, the bag represents the values of the community, while also bringing new perspectives to local consumer culture. The initiative supports the future while appreciating the past of Chinatown. TOTE BAG INITIATIVE Support the local Chinatown grocer y stores and merchants. By making a minimum purchase of $10 at any local grocer y store, receive a stamp on the back, and collect 8 for a free tote bag!

Honouring History & Redefining Identity Embroidery Pattern Representing the new aesthetics of Vancouver Chinatown that result from blending old and new cultural elements. Illustration Major landmark representing the historical significance and collected intangible values of the social fabric and relationships in Chinatown. Quote Recognizing that traditions and culture will be honoured and maintained but through different future pathways.
