The growth in Chinese Mainland was adversely affected by the consolidation of store network but the same store sales growth indicated a sign of recovery. The wholesale revenue declined as a result of the exit of stock clearance wholesale channel in Chinese Mainland in 2017.

The gross margin remained stable at approximately 70%. Excluding the one off exchanges losses, the core operating losses for the period ended 30 June and 2017 would be HK$146.2m and HK$177.9m respectively.

Net finance cost began to decrease as a result of the subscription of Ruyi.
