STEP 2 - Start 1 inch away from the middle part, taking diagonal forward sub-sections. Use the slicing technique with a foil to apply Formula 2. STEP 3 - Use Formula 3 on the sub-sections in between the foils. Then repeat step 2 and 3 around the perimeter, using Formula 1 and 3. STEP 4 - Place a hairclip at the fringe to avoid staining the face. SPHERE CUT Sectioning - Create 5 sections throughout the head; a triangle from the apex to the temples, a section across the nape, a section above the occipital bone to the middle of the crown and secure the last two sections on each side of the head. 1 2 STEP 1 - Starting at the front of the head, create a small triangle section from the fringe to the apex. Comb the hair into its natural fall and distribute evenly. Point cut the fringe section to the middle of the nose to create a guideline. STEP 2 - Create a thin parallel sub-section on both sides of the fringe triangle. Then distribute the hair perpendicular to the left triangle parting. Use the point cutting technique to connect the guideline length. STEP 3 - Repeat step 2 on the right side of the triangle, overlapping the subsections with the fringe guideline. SPHERE CUT 5 5 6 6 7 8 STEP 5 - Hold a small section from the fringe guide in your hand. Overdirect the side section to the guideline length. Loosen the tension slightly, bring it down and point cut. 8 9 9 STEP 6 - Mirror step 5 on the opposite side of the head. STEP 7 - Comb the hair into its natural fall and connect the fringe to the side sections. STEP 8 - Overdirect the crown section forward to the guide, loosen the tension and point cut to increase the length. STEP 9 - Using a small sub-section from the crown area project the entire back section horizontal, find your guideline, loosen the tension and point cut.
SPHERE styling 1 2 STEP 1 - Apply CHI Silk Infusion throughout the hair. STEP 2 - Spray a light amount of CHI Enviro Firm Hold Hairspray to the hair to lock in the moisture. STEP 3 - Use the 1 ¼ Dura CHI Curling Iron, overdirect the hair away from the face when curling. Hold the curl in place, pin at the base, allow to set. This will add maximum volume to the style. THE ZIGGY CUT 1 2 2 3 4 4 STEP 1 - Section the interior from the exterior, creating a horseshoe parting. STEP 2 - Use the Esquire Clippers and clipper-over-comb technique to cut the exterior. STEP 3 - Use the texturizing shear around the perimeter of the head, starting at the crown. STEP 4 - Create a triangle section on each side of the head and use the texturizing shear to connect the sides. STEP 5 - Use the slithering technique on the top layers for a soft but spiky end result. 5

STEP 2 - Create diagonal forward sub-sections, parallel to the zig zag. Then take thin slices away from the hairline and apply a foil. STEP 3 - Position the color brush vertical to the part. Apply Formula 1-2 inches away from the scalp, creating a V-shape. Cover the top with another foil. 1 2 2 GALAXY CUT 3 4 4 STEP 1 - Part the hair down the middle, from the fringe to the crown. Secure each side with a hairclip. 5 5 5 STEP 2 - Then create an inverted triangle at the crown directly above the occipital bone. Secure the nape area. STEP 3 - Create a diagonal forward parting at the fringe and overdirect the hair to the opposite side. Hold the hair horizontally and use the point of your fingers to determine the length on the chin. Then razor cut from shortest to longest creating a stationary guide. STEP 4 - Continue this technique throughout the left side fringe stopping at the corner of the eyebrow. Then use your guide to repeat the same technique from step 3 and 4 on the right side fringe. STEP 5 - Comb the hair to the stationary guideline take diagonal forward partings and razor cut the hair from shortest to longest.
GALAXY CUT 6 6 7 7 8 9 STEP 6 - Mirror step 5 throughout the remaining sections on both side. 9 10 10 STEP 7- Connect a small sub-section from the fringe to half of the crown section. Over direct the hair forward, at a 45 degree angle, loosen the tension and point cut the hair as a guideline. This will increase length and soften the ends. STEP 8 - Mirror step 7 on the opposite side of the crown. Once completed pinup the section with a hairclip. STEP 9- Take a horizontal parting at the nape. Razor cut the hair using the arcing technique for an under layer graduation cut. This will create soft ends. STEP 10- Comb the nape and sides down. Hold the hair perpendicular to its base parting and razor cut. Repeat this step on the opposite side and style as desired. GALAXYstyling 1 2 3 STEP 1 - Apply a small amount of CHI Silk Infusion throughout the hair before and after blow drying. STEP 2 - Create large sections starting at the fringe. Use the CHI Lava Iron to smooth and straighten the hair, creating ultimate frizz control. STEP 3 - Repeat step 2 on the opposite side and style as desired.

COSMOSCOLOR 4 5 5 6 6 STEP 4 - Take diagonal forwards part on the right side of the triangle and apply Formula 3 and 2. STEP 5 - Then create a horizontal section directly above the triangle and apply Formula 4. STEP 6 - Repeat step 2 and 3 on the opposite side of the head. Then mirror the technique from step 4 and allow to process. Style as desired.
1 1 2 COSMOS CUT 3 4 5 STEP 1 - Start at the fringe section create a zig zag parting, from fringe to crown. Then create rectangle sections from the zig zag parting. STEP 2 - Start with the side section take a diagonal parting and over direct the hair towards the fringe. Use the point cutting technique to create a guide and repeat this step throughout the entire section. STEP 3 - Use a small section from the apex and project the hair to the stationary guideline. 6 7 7 STEP 4 - Release the next section behind the ear. Take a diagonal parting and comb the hair to the guideline at the apex. Connect the sections and point cut. Repeat this step throughout the entire section. STEP 5 - Release the next section on the opposite side and repeat step 4 throughout the crown section. STEP 6 - Comb the hair back into a 90 degree angle. Take a vertical section at the crown to create a traveling guide. Using a razor, cut the hair from the shortest length increasing the length as you work towards he occipital bone. STEP 7 - Use the traveling guideline from step 6, to continue this techniques around the entire parietal ridge. COSMOS CUT 8 9 9 STEP 8 - Create a wide triangle at the fringe. Hold the section with two fingers and razor cut the hair slightly below the eyebrow, creating a guide. 10 10 11 STEP 9 - Create a vertical sub-section from the apex to the fringe. Project the top layers to the guide and point cutting technique to connect them. Repeat this step throughout the fringe area. STEP 10- Repeat step 9 throughout the entire section. This allows the fringe to be cut into a concave shape STEP 11- Comb the sides down and use the razor to cut the sides. Do not connect the sides with the fringe. PRO TIP- To remove the bulk at the nape, use the slithering technique with the shear. (If necesary)
COSMOS styling 1 2 3 STEP 1 - Spray a light amount of CHI Volume Booster on the hair and massage in thoroughly. STEP 1 - Blow-dry the hair slightly using the CHI Nano Hairdryer. Then use the CHI Ceramic Round Brush with the dryer, rotating inside and out+ for a soft curl pattern. STEP 1 - Use a wide tooth comb to finalize the look.
