Let s Get this Party Started! Learning how to present the products in a fun and informative fashion is one of the most important parts of becoming a successful beauty consultant. There are several things you will need to prepare before you begin. You will find the PDF files on the Crackerjack Unit Website: www.crackerjackunit.vpweb.com. From the left menu, choose Skin Care Class 1. Assemble your 2015 Class Flip Book. Print and cut the note cards. Insert them in a 4 X 6 photo book. The Love Your Skin Party note cards will take you step-by-step, word-for-word through the presentation. Practice makes perfect! Repetition of the presentation will build your confidence 2. Print and file your Masters Copies. There are a few files you will need to copy over and over. Print, place in page protectors and file it in your notebook for easy access. Tray Insert Guest can follow along with the order of application. Place under plastic tray. Print 6 8. Opinion Polls $100 Survey Fast Facts Marketing label to apply to the back of every beauty books. Dip your finger into the concealer, then rub it off on to the tray it is very concentrated...gentle stipple in dark or red areas to cover any imperfections. Never rub concealer into the skin You ll want to load the brush, tap off excess and press into skin in a circular motion. COLOR APPOINTMENT Full color is typically offered at the second appointment never the first. You will want to arrive early and verbally instruct your hostess through the color www.marykayintouch.com: Visit the Color Confident education site on the intouch website for color tips and techniques and to earn your Advanced Color Consultant designation. Go to Product Central /click Custom Color Looks. There you can use the personal information from your customers profile card to create a personalized color look for your customers. Eye color cards coming in 2015 follow the instructions on the card 1C EYE SHADOW Follow classic eye diagram on the color card to paint by numbers Peel the plastic off the eye shadows HIGHLIGHT ( first color ) Apply to eyelids & under the brow with sponge tip applicator MIDTONE (Middle Color) Swipe color on the clean side OF APPLICATOR and make a dot in the center of the brow bone. Using the finger, move the color back and d forth along brow bone like a windshield wiper. ACCENT color create an inverted V from the middle of the eyelid along lash line and up into the brow bone area to the middle Turn the sponge-tip back to the lighter side and blend the color upward from the darker to the lighter color EYELINER Apply along top lash line working the liner into the root of the lashes using short strokes rather than trying to draw a solid line. Bottom lash line: line the bottom into the lash line and smudge it out with a Q Tip Option: For a softer look, Use the accent color along bottom lash line 2C MASCARA (Give one mascara brush to each customer; don t re-dip because it s not sanitary) When applying mascara, don t pump it because you re drying out the mascara in the cylinder just twist. Also, you should replace your mascara every 2-3 months or bacteria can build up! Apply mascara from the root of the lashes wiggling it to the tips mimicking brushing your teeth. CHEEKS Take some blush off the Look Card with a cotton ball (or a brush if you have a demo set open). Place color in 3 dots on your cheekbone, no lower than the tip of your nose, and no closer than 2 fingers to the nose. Blend the dots along cheek bone, If you are getting complements on your cheek color, it s NOT a compliment ( SMILE ) Less is best 3 C LIPSTICK Peel off the lipstick part of your color card. Fold it back press lips together on card or use little applicator. Voila! The perfect amount of color! LIP GLOSS Swipe a little gloss on the tray to apply over lipstick. Our lip gloss has light reflectors which give shine without highlighting lines or wrinkles, I love this part of the class, it s COMPLIMENT TIME; look around the room & pay compliments to your friend s new skin/look Proceed with card # 14 Table Close. 4C LIPLINER (Optional) Draw a thin, natural line. Lip liner acts like a little fence for your lipstick; it helps to keep the lipstick from feathering.
