Take it in turns of being the judges or up on stage doing the acts. If the acts to be judged are good, invite parents in to be the audience. Ninja warriors 60 minutes A series of obstacles and challenges for people to try Stop watches Create a Ninja Warriors Challenge for your group. If you only have a field or hall to work with, what challenges can you create in this space. For example you could use the stepping stone challenge where four girls have to cross a distance with only two pieces of newspaper. Or you can make an obstacle course with chairs. Remember to get your leader to check out your challenges for safety then find your groups warrior. Create your own film quiz 20 minutes Theme for your film quiz Pens Paper Choose a theme for your Film quiz. It can be characters from Disney films or it could be the titles of James Bond Films. You Tube There are lots of challenges on You Tube, so why not choose some and give them a go Host your own 'Wonderful world of Disney' Show 60 minutes The Opening sequence of the 'Wonderful world of Disney' https://www.youtube.com/watch? v=b4ubhdxg3yc A selection of You tube Videos of Disney clips to watch Words and introductions for your clips You have been asked to host your very own 'Wonderful world of Disney' show. Each member of the group needs to select 2-3 videos to watch. Try and make the videos different from each other. Remember you are the presenter so write a few words to introduce your clips. When it is the other members of the groups turn to present listen to what they have to say. Make it special by making the popcorn holder shown in TV and Film. For older girls choose another program that they could host Trick photos A camera Objects or people to get the perspective of Try and take some trick pictures where you have both a small object and a group of people, so for example you can take a photo of your group all in a shoe. Or you can take a shot of both a person and a building where the person is as big as the building. Page 7 of 20

Take the Chubby Bunny Challenge 15 minutes Bag of Marsh mellows Paper bag The aim of the chubby bunny challenge is to put a marsh mellow in your mouth and say Chubby Bunny. Then without swallowing the first add another Marsh mellow and say Chubby Bunny again. Go around all the girls in the group adding a marsh mellow at a time, until you have a winner. Have the Paper bag on hand just in case. Try the Yoga Challenge Mats Stop watch or timer Selection of Yoga poises like:- Cat, Tree & Cobra More yoga poises from http://charmedyoga.com/2012/09/01/5downloadable-yoga-pose-sequences-for-alllevels/ The aim of the yoga challenge is to try out some of the poises. Once you have mastered a few of the poises, select a leader who will set the poise that every one in the group has to do. Once everyone has got it move onto the next poise. Make it into a game by the leader having to choose a poise in 15 seconds, then everyone else has 45 seconds to strike that poise. Speed it up by only giving the followers 40 seconds on the next poise then 35 etc. Once the leader has done 4 poises or everyone is out. Hair and Beauty Try out other peoples looks and develop your own unique style. Face masks Simple oatmeal scrub 1 tablespoon of oatmeal 3 tablespoons of water or milk Cucumber Egg Mask 1/2 Cucumber 1 egg white 2 Tablespoons yoghurt Simple oatmeal scrub Take 1 tablespoon of oatmeal and add a little bit of warm water (3 tablespoons of water or more), wait for about 5-10 minutes, until oats become soft. Gently, in circular motions, massage your clean face with this scrub to exfoliate your skin; massage for 1-2 minutes, avoiding the eye area. Rinse with warm and then, cold water (cold water will help close your pores). Cucumber Egg Mask - Blend ingredients in blender or food processor until cucumber is pureed. Apply to your face and allow to dry about 5-10 minutes. Rinse with warm water. Makes enough for 2-3 people or save the leftovers in the fridge for no more than 1 week. This works well as a game where two girls go head to head on speed and final look. Design a dress Newspaper Scissors Tape Other materials As a small group you have been asked to design a dress for your chosen celebrity. They will be going out on the red carpet so the paparazzi will be out in force so design the best dress you can. Don't forget a bag and a hat Be crazy and create a design with an old video tape. Fashion shoot Theme for your fashion shoot Clothes to wear in the shoot Camera to take pictures Your chosen celebrity has been asked to do a photo shoot on a given theme. You will need to decide on the theme of the photo shoot and bring in clothes suitable for the shoot. to dress in the clothes provided and poise for the camera. Update your clothes 60 minutes An Old plain T-shirt Fabric Paints, Fabric Glue Buttons, Bits of fabric Ribbons Sewing Materials Jewel s, sparkles and sequins You have been asked by Gok Wan to turn an old tired T-shirt into something new and interesting. You can use fabric ribbons and fabric paints. Use either Glue or the sewing materials to attach your design to the T-shirt Other great ideas Make a fact file on different fashion trends in different countries Dress up in costumes from other cultures, religions or just as characters from a film Make your own fashion line and create some outfits - Pick a theme like clothes to be seen at night as part of a keep safe campaign Create paper dolls and design paper clothes for them Look at accessories like bags and hair bands and see if you can make something similar Have a go at making a costume for a fancy dress party Page 12 of 20

Games and Puzzles Create games and try them out on other members of your group Who are you? Pens Paper Theme for your quiz Choose a few people who you can choose between. Now think about them and their traits. Are they an outside person or do they prefer to be inside with a hot mug of tea? Are you going to choose between the people on looks, or will it be their personality. Now set up a tree asking a question at each branch Mad - Making, Acting and Drawing 15 minutes Pens Paper Dice (The bigger the better) Lots of current film names, TV programmes etc. Egg timer (Optional) Salt dough 1/2 cup salt 1/2 cup water 1 cup flour This is a fun game of Making, Acting and Drawing One person picks an idea from either a pile or from the leader, they then throw the dice, if the number is: 1 or 2 - Make the idea 2 or 3 - Act out the idea 4 or 5 - Draw the idea. To this add a picture of the character or celebrity. Now hand out the headbands to everyone while their eyes are closed. The aim of the game is to find out who they are by asking questions about their hair, their looks etc. You can make it harder by making the pictures of famous pairs. Like celebrity couples so that they have to find their partner Who are they? Pictures of characters or celebrities Scissors Glue Large piece of card Cut out sections of the character or celebrities, so that you can still recognise them but people will need to guess who they are. Stick the pictures onto the large card then let others from your group guess who they are. As an alternative you can create the quiz on your phone by taking close up pictures of people in the room. Other great ideas Word searches - But it can be on anything popular not just films Celebrity corners - Corners, but the names of the corners are celebrities Create your own celebrity couple Charades Guess the celebrity from young pictures of them Update an old game and make it more modern Page 14 of 20

Yum yum Street Food 60 minutes Selection of street food to eat Sharp knife * Chopping board Depending where you are there are lots of different foods that are sold by street vendors. Choose from foods that are sold on the street and try to cook them in your unit Fruit Salad 15 minutes Selection of fruits Sharp knife * Chopping board You can get very creative with fruit and make it look appetising by making pictures that are good enough to eat Notes * Please be careful with sharp knives ** Always read the labels for food allergies Page 15 of 20

Cocktails 15 minutes Glasses Sunrise Grenadine Orange or Apple juice Ice Iced Mint Lemonade Blue food colouring Peppermint essence Ice Sunrise - Put Grenadine in a glass first followed by Ice then either the Apple Juice or Orange Juice. This makes for a great refreshing drink Iced Mint - Add just one drop of peppermint essence to a glass with a few drops of blue food colouring. Swirl the mixture around the inside of the glass then add crushed ice. Now add the lemonade for a cool and quite surprising drink. I'm a celebrity get me out of here 15 minutes Selection of food to try ** Find foods that you have not tried before like beef jerky, sushi, snails, tongue, muscles, haggis, tripe etc. Everyone in the group has been challenged to do a bush tucker trial with the winner being the one who tries to eat the most food.
