SPECIAL FEATURES OF THE GEO RANGE OF PRODUCTS QUALITY The GEO products have been formulated to enable the general consumer to have the benefit of essential oils in a user-friendly product. Care is taken that only high quality ingredients are used. VEGETABLE BASED Ingredients of vegetable origin are far more compatible with human skin, than synthetic ingredients and ingredients of animal origin. Oils from natural sources such as Palm Kernel, Babassu and Almond oil are used in these products. ESSENTIAL OILS Specially selected essential oils have been used in the products to achieve different effects. Essential oils are highly concentrated substances extracted from various parts of aromatic plants and trees. Due to their tiny molecular structure, essential oils applied to the skin can be absorbed into the bloodstream. They also reach the blood as a result of the aromatic molecules being inhaled. Once in the bloodstream the aromatic molecules interact with the body s chemistry. FRAGRANCE Synthetic fragrances are a major cause of skin irritation. Furthermore, these synthetic chemicals are foreign to the body and can affect our health in many different ways. GEO products are all free from synthetic fragrances; the fragrance of the GEO products is a direct result of the essential oils used. COLOURANT FREE Synthetic colors accumulate on the skin and can cause long-term sensitization especially in people predisposed to allergies. GEO products are completely color free! PRESERVATIVES AND PACKAGING Essential oils are natural preservatives. Therefore, very small amounts of preservative are necessary to ensure the safety and shelf life of our products. GEO products do not contain parabens.
NO ANIMAL TESTING GEO products contain no material of animal origin. Glycerin used in the formulations is derived from vegetable source. In addition, all tests are carried out on humans! ph FACTOR The GEO products are mildly acidic in nature so that the skin s natural acidic mantle is not diminished. Alkaline products with a ph factor above 7 (such as some soap bars) can strip the skin of protective oils. SKIN TYPES The GEO skin care range caters for all skin types. The GEO range is suitable for sensitive skin, because the products contain no harsh ingredients that could irritate skin. All the GEO products are free from synthetic fragrance, colorants and alcohol. Often, the products you use determine skin type. It is estimated that only 15% of people have truly sensitive skin. Hormonal changes, diet, extreme weather, stress, pollution and smoking all play a vital part in determining skin type. Provided you use appropriate skin care, all of us could have near perfect skin. Also, use a GEO oil-free moisturizer. Skin is often more oily prior to menstruation, due to hormonal changes and it might be a good idea to switch to a GEO oil-free moisturizer for that period if you have a combination skin.

This is the most common skin type. It is important to use mild skincare preparations such as the GEO range. Cleanse twice daily with our cream cleanser. If the T panel is very oily, alternate between the GEO oil-free moisturizer and the GEO moisturizer for combination skin. Cleanse with a gentle cleanser and use a toner with rosewater. The moisturizer must be rich, but easily absorbed. It is important to use gentle exfoliators and a special night care preparation. GEO HAIR CARE SHAMPOO All the GEO shampoos are ph balanced and are very gentle. None of the ingredients will irritate or dry out the scalp. The essential oils permeate the skin and nourish the hair in the follicle. Concentrations of essential oils are higher than in other products, because the hair is rinsed immediately. The shampoos leave no layer on the hair, they rinse out easily and thoroughly. This results in healthier, stronger and shiny hair. NB: the oils in the shampoos and conditioners will discourage head lice! CONDITIONER The conditioners in the GEO range contain only vegetable derivatives, most commercial conditioners contain animal fat. GEO uses an extract from the cotton plant. Shampoo and conditioner should be used together, as the ph factor has been balanced in the formulation of both products. The conditioners will not leave hair flat; rather they will provide nourishment for good-looking, healthy hair. NB: the oils in the shampoos and conditioners will discourage hair lice!

A clear liquid gel. PH balanced to re-establish the sin s natural acidity and refine the pores. Lightly fragranced with essential oil only. Contains the extracts witch hazel for astringency and allantoin for its soothing and healing properties. ph 3.5 MOISTURIZER FOR COMBINATION/ DRY SKIN Normal, Combination, Dry skin. MOISTURISER FOR MATURE SKIN Recommended for drier skin types. A luxurious creamy emulsion with chamomile and calendula to condition and hydrate the skin. Azulene is a very sought after component for skin preparations due to its soothing, regenerating and rejuvenating qualities. It is a component found in Cape Chamomile oil, which lends it its distinctive blue colour.

The combination of essential oils used is particularly soothing. Applies smoothly and is absorbed rapidly and completely. SKIN AILMENT CREAM Special skin conditions, sensitive skin or allergic skin types. Meant for smaller areas where skin is in need of healing. A white cream of medium thickness, which is quickly and totally absorbed by the skin. The combination of essential oils used is particularly soothing.
HEEL BALM All skin types Provides quick and effective relief to cracked or rough heels. Patchouli is well known for its skin regenerating and softening properties. Also great on elbows. ANTI CELLULITE GEL Use on orange peel areas such as hips, thighs and buttocks. A smooth gel, which contains active essential oils of Grapefruit, Juniper, Geranium and Lavandin.
