Shining Star Musical Theater Willy Wonka Costume List Dear Shining Star Families Spring is in the air, just in time to spring us into the final stretches of this year s Shining Star production! The time has come to start looking for costumes. We won t start collecting costumes at the school until mid-may, but start looking now! You ll find the comprehensive costume list attached for this year s production. The costumes are listed by each character, please note that some characters have more than one costume! Have a discussion with your actor about their costume. A great resource for purchasing is ebay, Etsy, Amazon and thrift stores. Please feel free to email me with pictures and questions. Another factor we should all keep in mind is that our children will be wearing these costumes in the heat of June under hot stage lights. Breathable fabrics and outfits that they can sweat in and still be comfortable in are the best. The descriptions below indicate the style and look we are aiming for. Please find as much as you can. Let us know as soon as possible if you have any difficulties finding clothes! ALL CLOTHING MUST BE LABELED or it will not be accepted! The actors know their characters and can help you pick out costumes, and incorporate their own personal style. Please find as much as you can. Let us know as soon as possible if you have any difficulties finding clothes. If you have any questions concerning costumes, please email me at hgilles86@gmail.com Dates to Bring in Costumes May 19-5 th graders May 26 th - 3 rd and 4 th graders (We will only accept costumes on these dates) Thanks for all your help and support watch for news about set painting!
