Reisebeschreibung Let s start the year with a special Winter Tango Holiday including a New Year's Eve Milonga at the beautiful lake Chiemsee in southern Germany, located near the Alps in Bavaria. From Aiterbach, you can easily discover beautiful landscapes and quaint Bavarian villages. Salzburg and Munich are only one hour drive away from our hotel. Welcome to an intensive Tango program with Fausto Carpino and Stephanie Fesneau, who will teach with intensity "Valse" on this Tango holiday: Dancing with grace and pleasure! Fausto and Stephanie will put the main focus on following themes: increased presence in the embrace - musicality - energized turns based on good technique. With these key themes the Valse gains automatically ease and dynamic. Tango classes will be held for dancers with advanced dance experience (at least two years). Every evening after dinner we continue with a Milonga. The Aiterbach Haus, with its tastefully decorated rooms, is considered one of the most beautiful properties at lake Chiemsee. It was once the summer residence of the well-known Munich family Riemerschmid, known for their architectural design and artistic talents. This property was recently renovated and restored creating an exciting blend of traditional and modern character. From the terrace you can enjoy an unforgettable view of the lake and the breathtaking alpine panorama. The light radiates throughout the house and onto the inviting wooden dance floor, where our courses will take place. You can book your room in the "traditional Villa" or in the modern new building just beside of the Villa with modern and comfortable rooms. The tango lessons will be held here. How to get to Aiterbach/Chiemsee by plane and car: Munich airport (130 km), take the Autobahn A8 Munich Salzburg, exit 106, Bernau/Chiemsee and follow the signs to Prien, Rimsting, Gstadt to Aiterbach. By train: there are several train connections from Munich to Salzburg. Get off at Prien and take a taxi (about 15,- ) or the local bus which stops directly in front of the hotel (For more information, send an email and I will provide more details). Please arrive by 18:00 (6pm). We will have dinner together and afterwards our first Milonga. Workshops will start on Sunday. Departure is on Friday after breakfast. Check-out approximately 10:30 am. Tango Fausto Carpino & Stephanie Fesneau: Fausto Carpino und Stephanie Fesneau are a young and dynamic dance couple. So far they have taught in many countries and many Tango Festivals in the world. Fausto and Stephanie dedicate themselves to transmitting their passion to others. They teach with personal engagement, esprit and charm. They believe that connection, musicality and technique are the keys to fully appreciate the beauty of tango. In their classes they concentrate on how to propose oneself to the partner in a comfortable way within the embrace, based on logic and natural movements. There will be ten hours of workshops and practicas from Sunday through Thursday. The special theme will be: "Valse". There will be two groups. Lessons will be for advanced dancers, minimum two years dance experience. Fausto and Stephanie teach in English.
